Crystal Ball Solar String Lights

Great lights. Straightforward to use and operate. Come with all the modes you'd need, controlled by pressing a button behind the solar panel. Likewise, the on/off switch is located behind the panel. The acrylic balls surrounding the bulbs promise a longer lifespan than glass balls, being more durable. I'm currently getting dusk to dawn from these lights in late summer. They do dim down a little as the night wears on. It will be interesting to see how well they charge over the winter months as I don't intend to take these down. The solar box is well waterproofed (as are the lights), but the screws would benefit from a dot of grease to prevent rusting. The lights are a lovely mellow golden colour and are more decorative than functional, giving insufficient light for seeing clearly but enough light to highlight a route through a garden, a bush, or other garden feature. They look classy by day and pretty by night.

Really lovely quality and easy to use! Love the convenience of them being solar powered. They worked well on the first night, even though I didn’t put them out until the afternoon they still came on. The bulbs look so pretty on or off and I love the size of them. They give off a lovely warm light which makes the garden feel so cosy! They’re just the right length for where I wanted them and I would not hesitate to recommend.

I bought these and they wouldn’t light at all (even when being in full sunlight all day) so I contacted the seller and they resolved the problem immediately. I was very impressed with their customer service despite what some of the reviews said. They sent me out a new set and they work much better but they only stay lit for a few hours. It’s a shame because they fit around my balcony perfectly and look gorgeous but I just wish they would stay lit for longer.

These are so easy to use and install and the effect is fabulous. I originally bought these a few years ago and they lasted really well, but like all solar lights, eventually a few of the bulbs stop working, but as I had left them out constantly over the year it was bound to happen. I didn't think twice about buying these again, I even bought one lot for my neighbour, as she loves them too. Charge for a day and switch them on before night and away they go, they last for hours if they've had a good charge during the day. Of course over winter and bad weather they may only last a couple of hours. All in all great lights, fast delivery and lovely effect in your garden.

These lights surprised me; they seem really well made and the LED bulbs are heavy and feel robust. The little solar panel has an on / off switch and a pattern switch so the lights can twinkle or sequence (might be handy at Christmas if they catch enough light!) I am using them to highlight an area around a hot tub; I’d say these are more “decorative” than full on lightning and met my expectations for solar lights so I am pleased; they work really well so far; it will be interesting to see how well they work in the winter months. The only niggle is I would have liked a slightly longer cable from the solar charging box to the first light to give me more flexibility on the mounting location - but at the price paid I really can’t complain.!!

Arrived promptly and neatly packaged. You have all you need in the box, lights, placement stick, solar panal. These lights look so pretty in the garden. They work from solar power. You will just need to put the solar panel into a soft area and angle it in your garden to face the sun make sure its facing in the direction that gets the best of the sun to get full use of the lights. Once set up correctly the light automatically come on when its dark and go then will off once it gets light again. There are buttons to control the lights giving different options of flashing speed. Also just to have them on with no flashing. They have 10 hours charge I believe which is great. They look so pretty in the garden and my guests were really impressed. They really set the scene. My neighbours have even asked about them. They are really pretty addition to our garden.

We have ordered 3 sets of these lights and have been really pleased with them however the last set only come on for the 1st half an hour only. We have fiddled about with the switch, changed the position of the charger but to no avail. We have tried to contact Amazon but it is impossible since covid! I had always considered Amazon to be one of the best with customer services, always contacted me back if ever there was a problem and resolving it quickly. Not now though! Frustrating to say the least! There is no reason Amazon that you cannot contact customers still so why have you made it so difficult? Sort it out please. Very disappointing!
