Worked superbly; REALLY solid
Installed these on a 2018 VW Sportwagon and was very pleased. Mounting was easy, the fit was good, and attachment was rock-solid; they supported two bikes (fork mount rack system) for 1100+ miles at 65-80 mph with absolutely no problems.Noise is what one would expect. At higher speeds (70+ mph) some resonance occurs; whooshing becomes whistling. This was reduced significantly, and the whistling eliminated entirely, by placing heavy adhesive tape (Gorilla or duct tape) across open gaps on the underside of the crossrails; this didn't detract at all from aesthetics. With bike racks and bikes mounted the noise was, interestingly, even less.Overall, a big win. At a fraction of the car manufacturer's crossrail price, these rails perform superbly. We couldn't be happier.

Sturdy and Built as described
My wife and I used this to mount a metal carrier we have bought. I stacked it up so high that I thought it would not withstand the weight of the carrier, bike, and stuff in the carrier (blow-up paddle board, three clothes full duffle bags, a suitcase, and some things that made it looked like we were a cartoon family going to a national park lol Our height was more than 8ft. Be careful doing it and check your height limit. We traveled from WA State to NV to AZ to NM to TX to OK to KS to MO to IL to MI with it and it supported that much weight. Would recommend this!I gave it 4 stars for easy installment because it is easy but it was inconvenient that I need to make sure both sides are actually straight. 4 stars for the value of money because it was solid for what it's worth. Its construction, although it withstands that much traveling, I was always wary it will give up at one point. We still use it.

Noise is too much / update: great customer service
Updated Review:Customer service reached in concern and refunded the full amount considering the challenges I faced. Considering the huge price difference from other companies and great service, definitely worth trying these out, the value is there.Old Review: Centering the product on top of your car takes some tinkling with the sides but it wasnt that hard. Overall it was easy enough to install. I added the rubber strips that were supposed to decrease noise but it really did nothing. The noise was way too loud any speed over 40 mph. Now its too late to return because I threw away the box and stuck with something just sitting in my garage. Sad waste of money. Recommend you splurge and go with Thule rather if you feel like you will care about the wind noise in the car.

Satisfied customer. Worked great for supporting four kayaks.
I got the 54 inch set for my Toyota Highlander and the fit was perfect. I was able to install two double-sided kayak racks on top in order to haul four kayaks total on a long road trip. No issues whatsoever. That being said, a couple of the problematic issues I read in reviews seem to have now been addressed by the company. A whistling road noise was reported by some users - I did not experience the noise (possibly because of the kayaks reshaping the wind flow), but the the kit included trimmable rubber gaskets to seal off the underside openings on the racks to reduce wind noise. I did not need them. The other issue of note was the inclusion of a substantially long Allen wrench to tighten the attachment bolts in each rack boot. Some users reported that the wrench was too short. Mine was approximately 10 inches long with plenty of reach.

This won't fit a Ford Flex
Well, a funny thing happened. I was about to order a set of cross bars for my 2011 Ford Flex SEL. I noticed an ad by Amazon just below on the screen that essentially said "buy these, they have a high rating and the price is lower". So, I placed the order for the suggested rails. They arrived a few days later and I assembled one of them to see how they'd fit. They didn't fit, not even close. So I returned them to Amazon at their expense.

Best crossbars for the money, hands down!!!
I purchased these along with two other more expensive brands, to determine which would be the best for my Kia Sorento, for roof carry of my 85 lb fishing kayak. I found these to be the same quality or superior to the ones priced over $200. These are extremely sturdy. The most impressive thing is how they flex and return to their shape. I ratchet strap my kayak down tight and it is heavy. They flex nicely and when the kayak is removed they return to their shape perfectly. The only fault I find is they are a little noisy on the road in a headwind, but I don’t care because they work so well. Don’t spend the money on the expensive brands. Buy these!!!

Works great on my 2013 Highlander
Good fit. Does whistle a bit. Was better once I put my Thule box on it. Very stable. Easy to put on and take off.

Don't stay on a Ford Flex
Update: manufacture offered to rerun my purchase price for the fact they didn't work on my car and made it right with be Nice company service Please beware, it is stated that these fit on a 2019 Ford Flex, they do not set on the rails right. We purchased a set to haul our kayaks on top of the car on vacation. They did not hold, the bolt broke and we lost both kayaks on the road and had to strap them directly to the roof of the car to proceed to our vacation. The bolts on the clams let go. The roof rails failing and coming off the car with 2 kayaks on them cause $2600.00 of damage to the roof and back of the car. Not to say anything about the stress they caused on a busy highway trying to retrieve them. Would of like to returned the roof racks but the system was destroyed and left by the side of the road.

Nice and stable on a Mitsubishi Outlander
Easy to install and really solid once I got it mounted. Not as quiet as my Thule bars on a different vehicle, but given that I paid about 8x less, not a big deal. A little wind noise is to be expected and isn't much louder than tire noise. Couldn't even notice that noise once the canoe was mounted anyhow.

Great roof rack for an affordable price.
I found this roof rack to be a perfect fit for my Dodge Journey. Holds my large canoe with ease.I will say cutting and applying the noise reduction strips was a bit tricky bet once it’s done it sounds very quiet, almost silent. The rest of the install was easy.

Sturdy and good design
I Bought these to mount our Yakima Cargo Top and they worked perfectly! The Yakima weighs about 70lbs and the racks say they can hold around 250lbs, I had it fully loaded for our road trip down to Florida and there was no bending or buckling of the racks, they are very sturdy and take about 5mins to install/uninstall They come with extra rubber strips to lengthen the distances of the crossbar to fit a variety of vehicles (there is a nice little install video on amazon within the product description that I used) , as well as extra end stoppers in case they got lost, damaged or fall off (mine did not they stick in pretty tight anyways). We used them on our 2023 Chevy Traverse and they fit nicely.

Great roof racks
I have installed three sets of roof racks over the years. These are by far the best. I always felt a certain unease carrying a 24' fiberglass ladder on the other racks, but not with these. They are solid as a rock and the ladders are secure.
