Lifefactory 9-Ounce Glass Baby Bottle with Stage 2 Nipple and Protective Silicone Sleeve Raspberry

Glass bottles and avoiding plastic are a high priority for me when it comes to choosing a bottle for my baby. These bottles have leach free glass, and don't have large plastic ventilators in them like the born free glass bottles we got. I am breast feeding our baby, and about a week into using the born free bottles I dropped an empty one and it shattered. That made me think of two things, one, glass flying everywhere is not safe, and two, what if that had been full of milk and my baby's only available meal? She is still small, only three months, but soon I can tell she will be trying to hold the bottle more when she drinks it.These bottles are more resistant to breaking than other glass bottles. Another pro of these bottles is how many colors they come in. I am trying to establish a freezer supply of breast milk, and they make it easy to keep track of what was pumped when. Because the bottles are so expensive, I pour the milk into ball jelly jars to freeze it. There is no residue left on the bottle when I pour the milk into the ball jar, even if the milk was cooling in the fridge. That is important, because if you are combining milk from different pumping sessions, you can only combine cold with cold. They do attach to the Medela pump, but not perfectly. If you tighten it to much, it will become detached. For me, that is ok, and a lot better than pumping into plastic, then pouring into glass. Some people have issues with the nipple, that has not been a problem for us at all. In fact I like this nipple better than the born free, because that one seemed to make my daughter lazy when she breast fed. With these bottles, she has to work a little more. They are expensive, but we are hoping to have more kids, and these will definitely hold up. I am also planning to purchase the sippy cup caps.

I had these bottles when my first son was a baby 12 years ago, and I went with another brand when I had my second son last year, although I wish I had just got these from the get-go. I needed a sippy cup and remembered how fantastic these were for my first, so I bought this with the sippy lids for my now toddler and they’re just as great. I love the materials and I really love the transparency in where they’re made.

I wanted to get my son a glass bottle, I tried the dr browns but they leaked. So after some research came across this brand. And i must say that quality is amazing. The silicone cover is such an ease to take off as well. I love the feel of the bottle and it's not even heavy. First it leaked and i thought that its faulty but i just didn't tighten it enough. It does not leak once tightened and the bottle temperature didn't get really warm even after using it in microwave for a minute to warm up. My son loves it and so do i. Just ordered another one. I hope it doesn't break easily because sometimes toodlers do throw things hard. But i think the design is excellent so should have baby safety element in it. Will definitely be purchasing the 4 oz bottles for my other baby too. Really glad to have come across this brand.

These bottles are excellent. The quality of these bottles is the best compared to any other glass bottle on the market. The silicone sleeve is great for daily handling of the bottle as other bottles without sleeves are more slippery and fall from the hand easily especially in the middle of the night. The nipples are thick so they don’t collapse when drinking. My baby is doing wonderful on these bottles so I’m very happy with them. He’s 8 months now and still using nipple size 2, which is the perfect flow for him. I plan to use the Dr.Brown silicone sippy nipples with these bottles after he grows out of the nipples. Extremely pleased with these, I wish I bought them sooner from when he was a newborn instead of trying other major brands. The quality is definitely worth the price

Just bought a 2nd 9oz bottle because we like them so much! No problems with our 4oz or 9oz yet! I love these bottles! They are well made and have good protection with the silicone all around it. The silicone wasn't quite as thick as I had hoped/thought it would be, but I'm sure it will still protect the glass quite well, and has so far. It's great these bottles can grow with your child! 4oz bottles come with stage 1 nipple for newborn to 3 months (preemie nipples available too) 9oz bottles come with stage 2 nipple for 3-6 months. Flat caps available to refrigerate or freeze milk, hold juice, or snacks. Sippy caps can be purchased for toddlers Does not leak at all even if held upside down, usually! Occasionally when held upside down a few dribbles come out, but not often. There are also flat caps you can buy that probably are even more leak-proof. I love the measuring lines on the silicone too. If it was on the glass, it would be covered up by the silicone. These bottles screw on to a pump too, or at least the one we have. DON'T USE PLASTIC; it's not worth the risk. Look up the risks of plastic, especially when heated or microwaved. There are no adverse affects of glass, and even if it did break, I'd rather get a cut from glass than absorb chemicals from plastics into my body contributing to serious problems years later. As a first time mom I chose plastic bottles over glass bottles. However, a friend of mine recommended this bottle for my baby and I have to say she was right. I drop the bottle couple of times and my baby did the same and it still kept intact. I love the durability and how easy it is to clean this bottle versus Dr. Browns bottles.

Great bottle but a bit heavy
