Sure Ways to Self Realisation

This books provides some of the BEST explorations on a widest variety of techniques of meditation from all over the world. It covers everything form biorhythms, to the use of mantras, mala beads, yantras, bakti, nidra, ajapa japa, kriya, to Christian prayer, traditional Buddhist, Taoist, to even tantric sexual transmutation, and Alchemical modes of meditation. This is easily one of Swami Satayanda's most eclectic/multicultural publications! Highly recommended for solo practiciners, yoga teachers, and occultists alike.

If one cannot find a method to reach self-realization by the end of this book, then read it again and instead of reading - do one that sounds good, then do it until "something happens". In a DVD called "5 Steps to Mastery" one thing said in it applies to this book. There is a period of time one does not see or feel results as you continue to keep practicing, then one day "poof" you hit the next level, then your back on the plateau again until the next jump. Same applies here - do one method for at least 40 days daily - do not miss a day. Why 40 days? Your body goes through a full cycle in 40 days so you get to experience it in all of your "mindsets". if you feel you are starting to "get it" stick with it - else do another. Eventually you will "get it". I do not think there is another book which covers so many variations. WOW - so many methods discussed, so many things I learned in this book and yes, I have found things that work for me.

From the Egyptians, Christianity, Buddhism to biofeedback, sex and psychedelics. Excellent for yoga/meditation teachers to understand what systems exist / have existed and how they compare and fit together.

Is a lil intimidating with the amount of information slammed into one book .. but I will have to read, reread, and research a lot I would like to know more about .. :D .. Overall, Happy and think you should buy it if you are looking :)
