Super Helpful
While I had shown horses, I have never shown dogs before and had NO IDEA where to begin. This book is definitely been super helpful. Certainly will help give the newbie more confidence when heading to the show ring with your dogs for the first time.

Fantastic resource for all conformation show dog handlers/owners!
It is difficult to find a lot of information for all positive training in the show dog world of conformation. This book walks you through step by step how to teach each behavior necessary for the ring. It is easy to read and suitable for all levels of training experience (human and dog). A wonderful way to make showing fun for you! Vicki (author) also has an online class that I am running through now that goes through the book information but in more detail. Fantastic!

This is an excellent book on showing for the novice or experienced handler
This is an excellent book on showing for the novice or experienced handler. Although I don't use clicker training; I still found it helpful.

Ok but more of a pamphlet than a book!
Very thin book. It is quite good detailing techniques on how to get your dog to stack, gait and stand still for examination. The techniques are very good and work, however, it leaves you wanting/needing to know a lot more as of course there are breed specific differences for how to stack etc which are not mentioned, (it doesnt even give a few examples) and there are no real suggestions on how to find out more about your breed specifics other than to go to the shows. There is really not a lot in the book and it assumes that you know about showing already but just want to train a dog using positive methods. Whilst the methods are good as I said, it just felt like I could have found that out by googling online for 10 mins rather than bought the book about it for the little information that is really in there.
