These are rich dark chocolate, and hard to find in our area. Pricey by the bar when you can find them. This is a great alternative, you get a supply at a good price. They shipped through Arizona, and took a while, so a little concerned about ordering in hot season.

I had my first opportunity to sample the candy bar now known as "Milky Way Midnight" in the late 1960s when it was called "Forever Yours". The "Forever Yours" bar was originally introduced by Mars way back in the 1930s. I did a bit of research and discovered that the original wrapper described this product as "a vanilla malted milk nougat, a layer of smooth rich caramel, all covered with rich, dark chocolate." Yum! Yum! As I recall "Forever Yours" was inexplicably discontinued in the late 1970's and did not reappear until the 1990s when it was re-introduced as "Milky Way Dark". It has been available ever since.These days the marketing folks at M&M/Mars have dubbed this confection "Milky Way Midnight". What has not changed is the candy itself. While I do like the original "Milky Way" bar I find it to be a bit too sweet. I much prefer this item. The dark chocolate cuts the sweetness dramatically. For the most part I try to avoid snacking on candy bars but every once in a while I indulge in one of these. Whatever you choose to call it "Milky Way Midnight" continues to be one of tastiest candy bars around. Recommended
