Camber 4"x4" Tilt Cymbal Stacker - Fits 6mm and 8mm Stands, Chrome Drum Hardware

I hate to write bad reviews, but this item did not meet my expectations. Hopefully Camber will read this and make some modifications. I bought 2 of them for $5 each during a sale at my local drum shop, so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. The problem is, the screw for the tilt arm doesn't stay tightened. After 2 or 3 strikes of the splash, it came loose and ended up sitting on my crash. I came up with a workaround by using mini-hose clamps to hold the stackers straight. Of course, I lost the tilt, but I found I could do without that. Since I don't need the tilt, the long term solution was to buy 6" straight stacker arms, which worked fine. I would not recommend this item, until Camber fixes the problem. Perhaps a wing nut on the other end of the screw, but you'd have to have a screw strong enough to hold without stripping.
