Do your research on the sous vide method if cooking
On a learning curve with this machine. After research and reading the instructions my first attempt was a thick rump steak, because, apparently thick cuts are more suited to the sous vide method. Wanted a medium steak so set the machine at 55 degrees and cooked it for just over an hour and then seared it in a very hot pan. Well it turned out to be rare. In defence of the machine the instructions state that there is a temperature discrepancy which I ignored. Next time I'll set a higher temperature, cooking for longer makes no difference. As regards the machine itself it seems to be well made and came to temperature quickly. It circulates the water and has an auto shut off at the end of cooking and also if the water drops below the minimum level, which some more expensive machines don't seem to have. Now I have got the measure of it next time should be more successful, fingers crossed.

Frees up the oven!
I like the ease of use with the Hozodo. My only issue is that the temperature control can only be change by 0.5 degrees. I would have liked more precise controls but said that everything I've cooked has come out great!

Sous vide. Extra time but soooo tasty!
Girlfriend keeps sous viding anything not tied down. Blame myself for getting it for her at Christmas. Keep getting tasty results though so no complaints. Takes a while though so plan ahead. Great machine and does what it says it would.
