I had burns on my lip and messed up my skin barrier on them. They were severed dried, felt like sandpaper, and swollen. Tried other lip balms and oils, this stuff has literally saved my lips. I was getting worried they’d never go back to normal! They aren’t sensitive to touch anymore and I could feel the difference. So grateful for this product! Definitely buying more when I’m done

My lips are perpetually dry and chapped. I think it’s caused by some of my medications that are extremely drying to my system. I am forever searching for my Holy Grail lip treatment (you should see my lippie collection - I might be able to set some kind of record!)Anyway, I saw this lip repair balm on one of those BuzzFeed lists of items you must have from Amazon, and I read a bunch of reviews, and figured I’d try it.The balm comes in a little pot-like jar with a screw top, and no applicator or spatula, so beware: if you’re like me and you don’t like to stick your finger in lip balm jars to use the product, you will want to get a small cosmetic spatula or lipstick brush. The consistency of the repair balm is thick - firmer than petroleum jelly. If you warm your applicator a little bit, it makes it easier to scoop a little bit out. A little goes a long way, which makes this a good value for your money. There is no scent and no taste, which is fine with me. I left one star off because the product has a weird texture for a lip balm. It’s grainy - like it feels a bit like a very weak, mild lip scrub. I don’t know if it’s supposed to be like that, but I have gotten other balms that have been that way and was told that can happen with extreme weather changes (in temperature.) It doesn’t affect the efficacy lip balm, and after a while, it does dissolve. I’ve heard that if you warm the jar up a bit by putting it in a pot of very hot water for a few minutes, it should melt it all down and then will be smooth after it cools. I haven’t tried that with this one, but I have some that with another lip balm that I bought online. It just feels grainy for a short time, so I’ve just dealt with it.As far as performance ,it does make my lips feel soft and hydrated, and it does last a little bit longer than some other lip balms I’ve used, but I wouldn’t say it’s my holy grail lippie. I put it on before I go to sleep, and it is gone by morning. When I use it during the day, I have to reapply fairly often. Overall, it’s a good, moisturizing lip balm for dry and chapped lips, and it’s worth the price, I guess. I don’t feel like it’s significantly better than most of the other lip balms out there. I do wish the result lasted longer than it does.

I am absolutely impressed! I've yet tried several different brands, but wasn't real happy with any of them... until this! I really wasn't expecting much, but I'm so surprised! This works better by a long shot than all the others, yet it's the cheapest! You don't actually have to have it on your lips for 6 to 8 hours like all the others. I have major medical issues that prevent me from getting 6 to 8 hours regularly, so it was always frustrating with other products that literally if you didn't lay down inactive for a whole 6 to 8 hours you won't get real benefits. This product works really good & I'm now a lifelong customer.

Three years ago, I moved from lush and moist Portland, Oregon, to the desert of Idaho. Within weeks, I looked like the Joker. My lips were cracked and splitting at the edges, beet red, and burning no matter what I put on them. I caked on Aquaphor ointment and petroleum jelly, Neosporin, and dozens of chapsticks and NOTHING could save my poor lips. It went on for weeks, maybe even a month!Finally I found the answer. It was the night time. That was when my lips were exposed and suffering the most, and once I found this lip repair cream - I kid you not - I have not missed a single night of applying it to my lips, in 3 years I haven’t missed a night. It protects them all night long and gives them the moisture barrier that they need to make it in this dry climate for 8 hours at a time.I have given this cream away as gifts to visitors who also aren’t used to the dry climate. It lasts a good long time. I want to say each little container lasts about 6 months or more. It goes on so smooth and buttery - I love the feel of it, but better yet, I love how it has completely rescued my poor burning lips.

Works well but feels terrible while on. Feels like gritty. And when I wake up lips are kinda chapped. Is ok though because my lips do feel better in the morning. Just takes some getting used to I guess.

A wonderfull lip balm. I was surprised to find that I much prefer the little can of balm to a stick. THe texture is ideal to pick up a swipe of lip balm. And it feels so good when applied. The only problem I have is that it makes its way out of my pocket and gets lost easily. And it seems to like to stay in the pcket when it goes into the washing machine. But it’s the best lip balm I have tried.

This stuff really works! Soft going on and matte finish; it can be work day or night. Doesn’t irritate sensitive skin, and it heals dry cracked lips fast.
