Simple keyboard with nice features.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I want to first give praise for the good parts of this keyboard. It seems there are no other options of keyboards which feature both ergonomic design and backlit letter keys. I also really like the size of the board and the spacing of the keys. The number of keys is practically perfect for all the things I like to have easily at my disposal. The split spacebar is a nice touch to make this board even more unique. And quick color change with a single press of a button also does well for me.This product is not perfect, however. I notice some of the keys don't strike so well and I have to press slightly more to ensure the press registers. But all together I like this board. And the reason I give it 5 stars instead of four is to encourage more boards to be made like this, but I would like to see a bit more quality and encourage healthy competition to imitate this style.

A must have for night-time typers.
I have had this product for several months now, and I love it. This is definitely the best and maybe only ergonomic lighted keyboard product. I love it because I type a lot at night in the dark and being able to see the keys without needing brighter lights on is great....and being able to adjust to color and intensity is fantastic. Overall - it is a great product and I recommend it highly. It has lasted well with heavy use, and seems to be very durable and well constructed. But in the interest of being completely objective, it does have a few drawbacks. It does not have any legs/clips on the bottom. I prefer a bit of a tilt to my keyboard, and while it might be less ideal from an ergonomic standpoint, not being able to flip out a little leg kickstand thingy on the back edge of the underside of the keyboard is just strange feature omission. And while it does have a nice array of function keys it does not have a calculator quick launch key (or a programmable key) which I would rather have than some of the other keys they provide along to top row. Also, the space bars are separate and a bit short. I wish they were longer and came closer together to each other (it takes some getting used to that when your hands are properly aligned, there is not enough of the space bar under your thumb on the left hand). It drove me crazy for about 3 weeks, but your hands will adjust and now I am used to it. They left a space there for their logo...which ought to go elsewhere so that left spacebar can be larger. And finally - I wish they would make a wireless model. This only comes with a cord at the time I am writing this. I prefer cordless, but I gave mine up to be able to type effectively at night. Not really a huge issue, the cord provided is nice and long.

The Only One Of Its Kind
I like this keyboard since it seems to be the only one around that's a truly ergonomic shape and has back lit keys. For some reason, the only keyboards available that are back lit, seem to be gaming keyboards. I don't need the extra stuff the gaming keyboards have, I only want to see in the dark and keep my arms and wrists comfortable while typing. Even though many of the gaming keyboards list as "Ergonomic", they are NOT. They are straight across, flat keyboards with fancy buttons - nothing egro about them. Finding out that this one is the only one of its kind is a bit shocking.Pros:1. The letters on the keys are big (not huge) but big enough for someone who uses reading glasses to see without glasses.2 The backlight works well and has different brightness settings (including OFF) which is weird since there's an "Off/On" button for the lights.3. It is Ergonomically shaped (like Microsoft's Ergo Keyboards) with a large wrist pad and is easier on the palms and wrists than straight keyboards.4. Seems to be pretty solid and stable.5. Typing is pretty fast and responsive although sometimes the "space" key seems to be a bit slow.Cons:1. I wish it came with the color purple instead of green (personal preference) I didn't use this criteria in rating this product.2. No adjustment legs on the back of the keyboard to use the "tilt forward" feature if you wanted to. (took away 1 star for this) - it's important for those who are trying to avoid hand/wrist issues.3. This keyboard is anything but QUIET. Especially if you are a fast typer, there's no way to type softly and therefore more quietly. It's LOUD!4. It's corded. I know you're thinking "Why didn't you just buy a wireless one then?" But as I mentioned earlier, this was the ONLY one I could find with a truly ergonomic shape, with back lit keys and didn't cost more than $100.There just aren't many (if any) out there. Microsoft makes plenty of ergo keyboards, but none that are backlit. :-( Overall it's a pretty decent keyboard for the money. If it had purple lights, I'd be much happier.
