New at rock picking when I got this book. It is helpful, but only shows the great agates, nothing about less than perfect stones that I've encountered.

This took forever to receive plus I paid for shipping and provided pretty simple and brief context that was more obvious then educational I guess more or less the Images are good quality but for the cost I would have liked it to be more informative.

I originally found this book in a gift shop, and kicked myself in the rear for not buying. luckily I was able to get from amazon. Myself and my parents love looking for Agates in Northern Michigan. This book is so handy when trying to tell a real agate from an imposter!
