DogEase Pet Wound Protection Suit - Great alternative to Buster collar cone! (XXL - 65cm (25 Kg +))

This is a very well made product and its certainly doing the job with our staffie who has just been speyed! It fits nicely and has kept her snug too. So far, we have not needed the dreaded cone of shame at all. I would have scored it at 5 stars but for the sizing. Yes, I know I said it fits nicely, however that is on her body. The length is too long and hangs over her rump by about 3 inches. This is not a fault of the product but a reflection of her being between sizes - the size down would have been perfect length wise but too small for her body. It would be nice if a greater range of sizes can be introduced over time, then it would definitely be 5 stars!

This is amazing. Our dog has been wearing this after being spayed. It has kept her wound covered well and is very comfortable. Was quite easy to get on, but you may need an extra pair of hands if you have a wriggler. It is perfect for female dogs as the whole back end is open. Our girl has had severe diarrhoea due to a reaction to pain killers, but has not messed the suit at all. So she gave it a very good toilet test. :-)

I bought the Large sleeveless suit for my 10.5kg, 41cm long, 6 month old cockapoo for her post spay recovery. Knew she'd hate the cone and wanted to avoid the risk and hassle of suits with fastenings that required her to give me adequate notice when she wanted to toilet, especially that first day or so when she was disorientated after the anaesthetic. This suit has been perfect for her and me. Fits her securely but not too tight - no elastic around the openings. She can toilet without any adjustments or soiling the suit. Soft fabric you can easily move to one side to check the wound and you'd see if that was leaking. It kept the wound site clean - first 24 hours or so she kept lying down every few steps, including when going outside to toilet. The vet fitted it on her after the surgery and agreed it was better than the one with poppers they'd have sold me for a similar price. Well worth it. She's happy wearing it and it's made the recovery period a lot easier. Hope this helps.

We have Tibetan Spaniels, one of which needed some lumps removing from his back ... this suit fitted him perfectly, and stopped him pulling out the stitches and generally scratching the surgery site to death ... and he likes wearing it. Fantastic. We bought two more....

Excellent alternative to 'the collar of shame'. It prevented access to the wound where others had failed, allowed our dog to move freely, fitted perfectly and washed well. A bit expensive for what it is but would still choose this over anything else.

This product was so much easier than one vets sold me.I had to adjust the vets one every time my dog needed toileting-this one stayed on for 10days without having to adjust for toileting.Also the wound after spaying healed beautifully.

Excellent - completely different experience to the 'cone of shame' which we had used in the past. Washes and dries quickly.
