Wonderful fridge!
It holds 12 cans of my energy drinks, easily, if I lay them down. Room to spare. It’s also very attractive in my room.Drinks were chilled enough to drink in about two hours. That’s from out of the box, to cold time.I don’t care for the latch. It opens with no problem, but it’s a bit of a hassle to get it latched shut.I wish it had some temperature control too.All in all, I would buy it again.

****NOT AN ACTUAL FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCT****FAILS TO TURN ON AFTER LESS THAN 2 WEEKS USE****
TLDR***FRIGIDAIRE CONTINUES TO SELL THIS BUILT TO BREAK PRODUCT DESPITE ITS WELL DOCUMENTED FAILURES AND WILL NOT SUPPORT IT WHATSOEVER***THEIR SUPPORT AGENT CLAIMS THAT THE PRODUCT IS HANDLED BY A THIRD PARTY COMPANY AND THAT IT IS NOT EVEN "A FRIGIDAIRE BRAND PRODUCT" (DIRECT QUOTE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE)***THIRD PARTY COMPANY WILL LITERALLY HANG UP ON YOU***I purchased this mini-fridge a little over a year ago for my home office and it sat unopened in the box for roughly 10 months due to my company ending work from home. Roughly 3 months ago, I finally unboxed it, plugged it in, and it worked fine for my week long work from home assignment, after which time I turned it off and unplugged it since I would be returning to the office indefinitely. It sat on my home office desk, was not moved, jarred, spilt on, or used whatsoever for 3 months. It literally just sat untouched and unplugged on the desk in the corner of a room that stays locked when I'm not in it.This past week (13 months after purchase) I plugged it back in, turned it on, and it once again worked fine for the last 5 days. Today I reached in to find everything warm and no power running from the unit switch forward. As an audio engineer and PC building enthusiast, you can take my word for it that I cycled through the proper troubleshooting steps and that the unit was indeed failing to power on due to its own internal failure. When plugged in, it was run through a certified UL/ELT surge protector into a fully grounded outlet and at no time was there a power out or breaker tripped. After contacting Frigidaire customer support, I was told that (AND I QUOTE DIRECTLY FROM THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT):"Frigidaire only manufactures this product and does not support it as it IS NOT A FRIGIDAIRE BRAND PRODUCT."You can imagine how puzzled I was to hear this while staring at the word "FRIGIDAIRE" plastered across the unit's face in chintzy plastic letters. The agent then directed me to call a third party company who's agent spoke such indiscernible English (I'm bilingual BTW, so it takes a lot for me to have difficulty getting the gist) that I was barely able to make out the words "past warranty" and that there was "no supervisor to talk to" before the agent promptly hung up.So roughly one month past warranty, a 13 month old unit that was used LESS THAN 2 WEEKS TOTAL was completely nonfunctional and the well known brand that sold it to me openly admitted that its "not our brand" when asked to stand by their product. Compare this to Black & Decker who sent me a brand new weed eater 6 MONTHS after the 1 yr warranty expired, with no questions asked and no returns necessary, simply because I was “a valued customer,” and you can see how poorly Frigidaire stands by the absolute built-to-break fully plastic garbage they slap their name on (and when I say fully plastic, I mean FULLY PLASTIC, including THE SCREWS). Oh, and don't forget, just because they MANUFACTURE IT and PUT THEIR NAME ON IT, its not necessarily their product, so they aren't responsible for supporting it or standing by it.Gotta love the products forged in the fires of late stage corporate capitalism, custom made for the landfill!

Very much worth the money!
I don’t understand why this has bad reviews. $45 is totally worth it. The colder your room is, the colder the mini fridge will get. But even if your room is warm, the fridge will still keep your drinks cool.It can hold 12 cans of soda (I prefer bubly :p). The drinks are definitely COLD but obviously not *ice* cold. This mini fridge temperature is very comparable to a regular sized refrigerator, (although I don’t recommend storing dairy for safety purposes). This doesn’t make any noise. And it’s extremely convenient for those that are working from home and are confined to their chairs for hours on end. This is an extremely good investment and definitely cold enough for you to enjoy bottles or canned drinks. I 100% recommend this.***EDIT***I’ve had this mini fridge for 2 months now and the drinks definitely get ICE cold. My AC was on a lot through the summer and therefore made my room cold and ultimately made the drinks just as cold as my regular fridge does!

Took a while to chill a dozen cans, really needs a mid-rack
Got this to replace a smaller chiller that basically stopped cooling altogether. Put a dozen cans of soda in there. It took 2 full days for it to chill the contents, so it's a bit on the slow side. The design is not bad, though the oval window doesn't really offer much visibility. There really is no controls except the power switch, which also lets you choose to chill or warm, which means this is a Peltier-effect-based device. While the demo photos suggest you can place the cans vertically, you really should put them horizontally, as the cans don't feel very stable vertically. And this is where I wonder if the designers actually used the product... It really needs a little more vertical room and a horizontal rack (or 2) so you can easily pull out stuff on the top vs. the bottom without affecting other shelves. But that's more of a nitpick.Once I left the device for 48 hours, the soda inside is FINALLY chilled sufficiently to be considered "cold". The black design is not too out of place on a bookshelf. Though it is relatively tall and there is no provision to place it any other way due to the way the hinge is designed.EDIT: The soda can must be placed vertically to fit 12 cans. If you put it horizontally you can only fit 9 cans. Which may be better for its operations as there is less stuff to chill.EDIT2: turns out with a little creative stacking, you *CAN* fit 11 cans, not 9, with the cans laid horizontally. You have to do, from bottom to top, 3-3-2-3 or 3-3-3-2All in all, "not bad", but you need to give it time for it to start working.
