Lifesaver for homes with kids and pets
This Capture carpet cleaner has been a total lifesaver in a house with both a puppy and young kids. It’s incredibly effective at lifting tough stains—everything from muddy paw prints to juice spills. While some deeper stains might need a second application, it’s still one of the best carpet cleaners I’ve used. It doesn’t leave behind any strong odor, and it’s easy to apply without soaking the carpet. If you’ve got little mess-makers running around, this is a must-have for keeping your carpets looking fresh. I always keep a container on hand—highly recommend!

Rugged Pulled
I’ve always used this for my carpets & rugs that have that dirt runway that we all have that is a constant walkway. Takes some elbow grease and letting it sit for a little longer, and it’s worth it. Vacuum it up, and you might do a couple more times if you have high volume areas to get it really ((PRIME)) <——— See how I did that 😭😂. Good Product for the price & cleaning power.

Works best with the pre-mist
I have used Capture for years but the big box stores no longer carry it so I found it on Amazon. The Capture system works best, and is suggested by the company that manufactures it, when you use the pre-mist product. That must be purchased separately from this seller. I didn't need to purchase an entire kit others sold because I had pre-mist already. I was VERY disappointed when I got this because it doesn't have a shaker top & the brush was squished by the shrink wrap. The product is chunky so you can't just sprinkle it out of the canister. Larger kits have a sifter. I will get a cheap sifter to apply it. The pre-mist should be sprayed VERY LIGHTLY. Then LIGHTLY sprinkle the Capture on the stain. You don't need much. Brush lightly & let sit for 30 min or more. It will feel wet after that time but the product just feels that way so just vacuum it up. Some stains may need a 2nd application but most do not.

*DO NOT BUY FOR WOOL*
*DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT*This product ruined my wool rug. The brush is far too harsh for wool. The cleaner goes all over the home. It claims to be pet safe, but it creates dust everywhere. Obviously, I don't want my dog sniffing this up. It DOES NOT WORK. All stains remain. Terrible, ineffective, does not vacuum up, ruined an $800 dollar rug.

Dry or damp shampooing
This is interesting stuff but I really like it. You sort of sprinkle it on but then you have to spread it around and I use my fingers to just spread it everywhere on the rug. I then use the brush that they give you to just brush it into the little crevices of the rug. That takes a little elbow grease to do that but it was working good. Then I let it sit for quite a while till I thought it was dry because it is slightly damp. And then I vacuum it and oh my gosh it smells great. For those rugs that can't go into a washing machine or not even into a laundromat this worked great. I think I would want to put it on some cement or something that you don't care about what's underneath it. Like I don't think I would put the rug on the wooden floor to do this process I would make sure something like cement is underneath.
