BiNFU 5W COB LED Work Light for Milling, Lathe, Work Bench Led Gooseneck Lamp

I've wanted something smaller to replace the old incandescent light on my lathe. This works perfectly. Just the right length to attach to the top of the lathe and still be able to flex to see the inside of a bowl. Very bright. Holds its position well.

I'm very pleased with the quality of this light. No cheap plastic anywhere, gooseneck flex isn't floppy and stays where you put it. I mounted it to a spare magnetic base that was sitting in my drawer and now have a very nice portable light I can move anywhere I need some extra light. The 5W is not "super bright" but it's fine for my drill press, bandsaw, etc.

The light is perfect for my work on my wood lathe; it's bright, easy to position, and small enough to not be in the way. The only reason for the four vs. five stars is the mounting base: it's too small, the screws holes (and the included screws) are too small to be effective. I drilled out the holes to allow for bigger screws. Otherwise, an excellent work light for my purposes.

I bought two different lights to try. I kept this one and returned the other one. Then I went back and bought a second one. I like the ability to flex the light to where I need it and it stays in place. It is plenty long for my workbench, but measure before you buy. It is bright enough, but a little brighter would be nice. It is also warm to the touch, but not too hot to grab by the light end for repositioning. The neck and base are well made and should withstand the test of time.

This is a very nice light, however, I should've opted for the the stronger light (next one up). -Still over my electrical devices that I need to shine it on, just to see outlets it's a perfect fit. -Very good quality. -Aesthetically, very good looking. Yes, I definitely recommend this product.

I was looking for a brighter light with a longer reach for my industrial sewing machine after I broke the original can-type light. To be honest I didn’t have very high hopes because the cord doesn’t run down through the base and other reviewers had mentioned it wasn’t flexible at the bottom. However, I mounted it just off center of the original hole and unless you’re looking right at the base you can’t tell it’s just a bit off. The smaller connector in the middle of the wire to separate the light from the wall plug is a really nice feature so you don’t have to wire a wall plug while sitting under your machine! I’ve been using it for two days now and I am very happy with its performance! It’s flexible enough to reach around the machine when I need to fix something on the underside and long enough to get the light where I need it.

Will not take any sort of twisting of the head as that will cause the base threads to strip. But once set in JB Weld it works like it should. Nice bright light, if mounting to a wall, there is a slight sag in the neck. Besides that it stays where you point it. The on/off button also feels solid.

I only turned this light on and off a dozen times and the switch quit working. It’s not nearly as bright as you’d think it should be being an LED. And it is very difficult to bend and move. Complete junk.

I've has this light for 8 months. I have been using ot on my wood lathe. The neck is stiff and and stays in place. There is little wobble when turning wood. The light is quite bright. However the housing gets quite hot to the touch after a while and is more reminiscent of halogen lamps than led lights. I'm not sure of the heat produced is standard with these lamps or just mine.

When it showed up the quality looks ok. The cord is a bit on the light duty side. Push button switch was broken. Stuck on. Usable but switch doesn't work. If it wasn't broken I would have rated it higher.
