Works great with the Torin 5-ton jack screw.

This bar is great and goes perfectly with the Jet 25 ton Screw Jack. I used the screw jack and the bar together to raise/repair my sagging floor joists. It helped me raise my floor joist with ease. This is the same equipment many shoring (house raising companies) used. The Jet Screw Jacks (I have 2) and this bar have saved me thousands of dollars. They have already paid for themselves.

Great replacement
Using this as a replacement for a bar for my car jack. Bit long but it works and fits in my trunk. Doubles as a nice weapon with reach. Not that I need a weapon…

It's a metal bar.
It does what it is intended to do. I leave it under the house and it seems to hold up well to the elements. In hindsight I would have just use a broomstick. Lesson learned.

For use with the house jacks
You could buy a standard bat from tne store but these are made for the house jacks and when lifting 15 -20 tons i dont want something that will bend or snap. These are quality products just like the house jacks

It’s a bar
I can see why it would be sold separately from the screw Jack, because typically more than one screw Jack would be purchased at one time. One bar can be used on all the screw jacks. Though a back up bar would be a smart back-up in confined spaces ( under a house )! Especially, when there may be some distance between screw jacks. So, because the bar is a must have; it would be nice to sell it along with one screw Jack when multiple screw jacks are purchased. Therefore, I am going to say, it was too expensive for just a steel bar. Can you get away using something else to turn the screw in the screw jacks? Maybe, but why be taking risk with this kind of work? Get the proper tool. Buy the bar.
