Best product to get into joinery for woodworking
Right off the bat I knew I was gonna have access to a lot Of logs of various sizes. My girlfriend wanted a ladder made for her so she could hang up our blankets on and immediately I started looking into how I could do so. I stumbled across this, and I have to say this is one of the greatest things I have ever purchased. I’m gonna continue to do more projects in the future but my First two Projects are the blanket ladder as seen in the photos and a small table that I am currently making. If you wanna get into wood furniture making, Buy the 1 inch, the one and a half inch and the 2 inch lumberjack tool as well as the Forstner bits. You will not regret it

These tools are great. I built a log fence. Make sure you buy the right drill with a lot of power. What is recommended.

Inexpensive Fix For Blade Anchor Problem.
Echoing other reviewers complaint re: cutter blades slipping. Well made product just a poor design for blade retention. You see the problem immediately when attaching the blades to the body. As you tighten the screw the blade "walks" down the body rather than tightening. You cannot tighten the blade sufficiently to keep it anchored at the desired setting. Luckily, the cure is simple and inexpensive. Ten cents worth of 6mm lock washers, one per screw, will keep the blade from "walking" and allow you to anchor it firmly.You would think the company would have figured this out long ago and included several for this reason.

I love these DIY tools . I built a railing around my deck . I got the knife set wrong at first . After I reset it , it worked perfectly . A hot knife through butter !
