Perfect for cabinet and flooring repairs.
I use these sticks to repair wood floors and cabinets. For this purpose there is basically these and one other option found at Lowes. Ive used both, the main difference is that when these melt, the color is truer and solid, you can see any clear liquid. With the Lowes type they aren't solid color, when melted you can see clear liquid and colored liquid. Truth be told, the finished product is almost Identical other than these last longer and you get posibbly 5 times the amount of crayon than with the other type due to shape. Also, these crayons last a looong time, you can literally keep these for years doing repairs before having to buy more unless you are a dedicated repairman or something.I work in construction and usually use these to repair dents or holes even scratches on cabinets and floors. Here's how I use these to the maximum effectUse a flexible putty knife and heat it with a heat gun (hair dryer works too) once hot you melt the color matched filstik to the putty knife and wipe it on to the damaged area.Warm the putty knife again and pass over the area to remove excess.Repeat till satisfaction, sometimes I smear a little bit of stain pen to mimick the color then I spray satin clear over the area so it all shines the same.

They do the trick on laminate floors
These work pretty well. You must clean first with naphtha and you need a straightedge to level as soon as applied. It has natural, nutmeg, white, maple, walnut, ebony, dark mahogany, etc.....covers the spectrum. You will need a stain marker to finish and blend.

Wood Not Work As Promised
Does not apply easily, does not stick once in place, and looks like a messy crayon tried to color-in the scratches and nicks.

Awesome
These color sticks get the job done - not for super deep scratches, but for surface ones they work like a charm. Just color with a light hand and buff with a cloth, in same direction as grain, to wipe away excess, repeat as needed. I'm a dedicated fan!

Good Filler, Great Color Selection
Worked really well on a table that my movers damaged. Incredible color selection. Great for when you need filler in addition to a color touch up.
