Before buying this, I asked a friend from Europe if he was familiar with this product. He said yes and his family used it in soups, stews, and on meat. I’ve used this in soup and on steak, pork and chicken. Great Unami flavor. It greatly enriches the flavor of any food that I’ve added it to.
