Lied to; Payed for a Two-Pack, Only Recieved One
It works more than fine, I’d even say almost great. If you have oily or combo skin as many of us- -including myself- - do, rest assured; it will NOT cause any further breakouts nor will it make your look any more like an oiled-up greaseball than you already do. Not only will it keep your face’s moisture levels decently balance but it WILL help diminish post acne marks and scars to clear up your skin tone and even out your complexion. It smells somewhat strong, but it’s not a bad smell... it’s just very much so “present.” Again, it really isn’t bad at all. It smells very clean but an also concentrated formula, like one of those mighty advanced therapy lotions for skin so dry it cracks. Think Lubriderm, or Goldbond. It acts almost as a primer does, in that it improves the appearance and texture of your skin by smoothing out and blurring it’s porous natural state, putting down the foundation for a great canvas (on which to apply your actual makeup foundation xD). It gives your face a definite matte, almost powdery finish and leaves you smelling fresh albeit also feeling almost moist, which of your skin is on the dry side I can’t imagine this being a downside. It’s effect far surpass that of its similarly priced counterparts at the drugstore level and even the higher end ones beyond. I’m by no means touting it as some sort of over the counter miracle worker, or as an end-all-be-all, but it more than gets the job done and damn good, too. You can NOT beat the value of this at the price it’s at. It may not be the best out there but it’s better than a lot of the others, you have nothing to lose by just giving it a try. It might take a while, but with time it’ll moisturize for overall semi-permanent results and it’ll remove many a spot and a mark as the weeks go on. I think I’ve been using this since I was at least 13. As the battle with my skin issues continue into my young adulthood, I can only think that there must be a reason I keep coming back to this cream. I have to say that it works. Slowly and overtime, but it works. (Not to mention that me deciding to still give it a 5-star rating despite the fact I only got half of what I payed for is an action that speaks for itself.)

Compared to Dry Skin Ponds Dark Spot Cream; Pros & Cons
So, first I will say, normally I buy the Ponds Dark Spot Correcting Cream for DRY skin. This 2 pack for OILY skin was on sale, so I thought I’d give it a try!DIFFERENCES:Scent: Dry has a nice scent, and Oily has a nice scent. They’re different, but I slightly prefer the Dry scent. The Dry scent it more “fresh” where as the Oily scent is more “perfumey”.Texture: The Dry one is more of a liquid, a thinner lotion texture. The Oily one is thicker, and has an airy, buttery texture. Now to focus on just this product: The Oily Skin Version!PROS: It has a nice scent, and it rubs into the skin very nicely. It feels good on my skin!CONS: My ONLY complaint is that I can’t wear makeup on top of it. This version dries on the skin nicely, but if you try to put foundation on your skin afterward, it will sit really weird, separate funny, and just look super bad. The Ponds Cream for Dry Skin doesn’t leave the same sort of texture on my skin, so I am able to put makeup right on top of it with ease.Overall I like this cream, and will continue to use it! I will just use it on a bare face, and not put makeup on top of it. In the future, because of my own personal preference, I will probably buy the version made for dry skin instead, but this one is still a good product.

Evens face tone
I had can’t growing up and every so often I’ll get a pimple. This totally evens out my skin, no more dark scars or sun spots. It’s not greasy at all, I always make sure to get the one for normal to oily skin. It works wonders!

impressed so far but with some reservations
i have been using the clarant b3 normal to oily skin for three weeks now and so far i have been impressed with the results. however there are a few drawbacks with this product.Pros:the cream is light and absorbs quickly into the skin.my lighter discolorations have become much lighter.skin tone has become more even.the cost is much less per ounce than olay regenerist serum.it held back my normal oily sheen through my makeup for 4 hours.works on other dark pigmented areas besides your face.Cons:the scent reminds me of a lighter version of some bad 70's perfume. it takes some time to get used to.you have to use it consistently twice a day or it doesn't work as well or not at all.i broke out in small pimples the first 2 weeks i used it until my skin got used to it.the darker discolorations on my face are not getting lighter. i'm assuming it will take some time for those.UPDATE:i have been using this cream for over 2 months. it has not worked as well on my darker discolorations. in fact, the color has not changed much at all. i would recommend this for skin discolorations that are 1 to 2 shades darker than your actual skin tone. anything 3 shades or darker will probably not work as well.i will update my review as time goes on to see if time does make a difference with the darker discolorations.
