Toysmith Big Bad Boomerang

Nice and lite weight with vibrant colors. What's best is that it is soft and theoretically, will be less damaging when tossed in the house or connects with someone. A nice first option.

This boomerang is quite large but also light, making it very sensitive to wind. It does not like a hard throw, and even in light wind, it tends to get caught by the wind and swoop upwards. While all foam boomerangs do poorly in wind, most are small with a short range so are much forgiving when it comes to throwing technique. I was able to get mine to return and catch it a few times, but it was more difficult than my other beginner boomerangs. Considering this is marketed as a toy for children, they would have more success with something like a plastic tri-wing boomerang.The graphics on the one I got were different than any of the ones pictured in the product page. It had a cartoon kangaroo head on one wing and the word "Boomerang" written in huge letters covering the entire other wing. While the graphics are not too important to me, I would have preferred to at least see all possible variations on the product page.

nice, but not too sturdy

Sent this as a Christmas gift and got a call from a very excited child who had already been to the park to play. He was delighted!!

Awful toy. I gave it to my grandson and it did not work and broke the first day.

Perfect for the kid that has everything. But as with most other flying toys/sports take outside! Another good reason to buy it, getting kids outdoors!!!

Did not come back when thrown. Flimsy but durable. Had to chase after it all the time.

Its fun.
