These refills are the full metal barrel and come with a better quality rubbery tip to extend the shelf life of the refill. The rainbow colored package cheaper refills are made in China vs France.

The parker gel refills are a lot smoother than the ballpoint refills, however when compared to other, cheaper gel pens it feels a little bit lacking. The pilot G2 and pentel Energel write smoother in my opinion. However if you want to use your parker pen this is a worthwhile upgrade.

Terrible. received the refills and they both skip,writing does not come out clear and has to be rewritten leaving a mess. feels like the ball does not roll properly. Try cleaning the point off but it only works correctly for a brief time.

This Parker refill was used for my gel Sensa pen. Great ink. Last. No issues at all. The blue is a solid blue.
