This works fine for meshcore. Doddle to set up really. Antenna is ok but really need to upgrade if you want any range.

Same as the boards from China obviously just at a higher price for quicker delivery, does the job and does it well. Although I did return it because I found my old one that I lost..

This is a heltec v3 device, so will work with Meshtastic. However, the screen is smaller than most and not compatible with the firmwares that make use of the OLED. Use the Heltec Wireless Stick firmware and it'll run without the screen just fine. You can set it up via your phone's bluetooth connection and run it as a base node. Buy a decent antenna, because the one it's supplied with is really, really bad. You don't need to go baller-level with your antenna choice either. I can get to both nearby cities and beyond with the built in Lora using just a +3dB off-brand Duck-type.

Works very well when in right location. Needs to be as high as possible to function well and also you need to be within a good range of at least one repeater. Set up was straight forward with a little help from a friend.

Works great when both flashed with Meshtastic and Meshcore and has an adaquate enough antenna for the rest of my town's local MeshCore network

Heltec v3 with everything needed

This is a current Fad. Forget using this with Solar it is too power hungry, get a decent antenna or you won't get far. Meshtastic has a way to go before these become usefull. Wait...

rly good board cost a bit more than other but get a bether wifi "scann" than other to not to mention the antena. I buy 2 for now and i will probably go for one more for my project (aquaponics). Fast delivery and as expected
