BEST SPRAYER I HAVE EVER PURCHASED
I would dare say that this Chapin Premier Sprayer is the BEST sprayer I have ever purchased. The container wall material itself is solidly cast, but transparent enough to quickly see the liquid levels. The spray tip is perfect and easily adjusts for Insecticide (fan pattern) or spot spraying Herbicide (narrow). When properly assembled, there are no drips when the handle is released. The large opening makes for extremely easy filling and mixing.I used a Sharpie to highlight gallon marks, and use Teflon tape for all the threaded connections. The lid threads on very easily, and the hanger for the sprayer hose is GENIUS.NOTE: The hanger part on the lid needs to be tightened PAST the relief valve for a positive seal and proper hanger positioning. I bought a 4 pack of TR-416-S valve stems so I can easily pressurize the sprayer.I contacted Chapin customer support with a question and was amazed at how fast they responded and how helpful they were.I now have a reliable sprayer that is extremely easy to use, a big improvement over the myriad of past sprayers I've purchased that turned out to be one-use-only.Thank you, Chapin, for making my life easier!

Add yourself a shraeder valve - no pumping
It's not super fancy, but it's effective; about like grandpa's old metal sprayer, but poly-ethlsomething so it's more durable. I like the brass fittings, but the tip seems to change spray pattern with the pressure you pump into it. Not sure if it's me or just a strange tip. Overall I like this sprayer and prefer it over the $100 backpack sprayer I was using since this sprays forever once you pump it up. I use it for poison and fertilizer, and with soap as well. No complaints - for Amazon's price this is a perfect sprayer. Like the discharge button too - very conveninent. Added a shraeder valve - no more pumping! Jason

Total POS
Bought this to replace the cheaper $20 big box version i had. And have been fighting it for many monthsFirst issue was that it doesn't seal very well and hold pressure. Removing the large O-ring and applying some vacuum grease helped the issue some, but you still cant pup the tank up very much. Even with the large treads you have to have get the top just right or it will try and cross thread really easily. And no, im not trying to put a massive pressure in the tank - the cheap ones hold more pressure than this.Second - the brass tip looks nice and robust, but the spray pattern is extremely finicky and you can only get a good spay pattern when the tank is pumped all the way up, but then drains down quickly (first issue) and you have to start all over again. Its really hard to find tune. I only found this is good to put out a large volume of liquid quick, if you are wanting to go smaller controlled spray - it doesn't work at all.Third. the holder for the wand on the top really doesn't work at all - there are 3 different sized holder but none of them seem to work that well. For the price point - just by the cheap big box ones and trash them when they go bad. its not worth the fight or inconsistencies this "Premire Pro" sprayer

Heavy-duty, well made and safe sprayer for heavy-duty herbicides!
We had purchased a very heavy-duty herbicide that potentially we would mix with diesel fuel to spray out in this sprayer. After a lot of research, chose this sprayer and could not be happier. It is well worth the price, with brass fittings and everything on this sprayer will last for years, meaning it does not have to go to a landfill once a cheap replacement is purchased. This was a great solution for us to use a variety of herbicides over the course of years not a single season.

Easy to use, does the job
Treated plants for white powder mildew. Squash and Cucumbers. Worked well. Well marked on how much to add. Only had it a month so far, but it works well. Adjustment on nozzel works well. If it gets hard to turn, ie both turn at the same time, a needle-nose pliers solves it. Also, vent (has a vent button for this purpose) went not in use so it won't come out when you don't expect it due to pressure build up.

Good sprayer when it works, mine didn't. 2.5 stars out of 5
Beware that there's no place to add a shoulder strap, it has to be carried by the pump handle. Also the wand is too short, you'll find yourself needing a longer wand or you'll be doing lots of bending over.Added 11/14/2020: Used about 3 weeks after purchase. The sprayer would not hold pressure. When pumped to operating pressure air leaked out between the screw on cap/pump and the tank. Visual inspection revealed nothing, tried again, same result. I returned the sprayer for a refund. Chapin is a good product, this one may have just been bad one. I read other review about this sprayer not holding pressure, I should have headed the warning. Will order a Chapin with a metal sprayer, the seal between tank and pump is a more solid connection/seal.Added 11/20/20: Still waiting for my refund, Amazon says my refund was issued, I have not yet received it. Can't get a status from Amazon.
