Mini camping salt & pepper shakers
I love these! I had bought a set at a different store near me. I bought 2 separate packs but they were on a set of 1 which was just which was for salt & pepper. The 1’s that I got from Amazon it was really nice because you got a pack of 3 & the plastic part that sprinkles out it was nice because they had a cap that had small holes & then they also had medium size holes for like spices which I loved. I wish that the plastic pieces were easier to pop off to refill I also wish that you could buy the separate piece that sprinkle on the food were also sold separately.

Stevia to-go bottle! Best Solution so far!
I have been on a search for a long time for something that is appropriate to carry stevia in. In frustration, I decided to try these. Although I did not need 3 it was more cost effective. I switched to stevia years ago and have tried many different kinds of bottles. I found one camping one that worked good but was very small. This so far has been a hit. I know its really designed for spices and the shaker top is not ideal but it works for what I need. It holds a great deal and is portable enough to take in my purse. I highly recommend others give it a try. There is no perfect solution but this is as close to perfect as I could find.

Expensive and heavy, but somehow still worth it.
After thinking about backpack/camp cooking for many years, last year, I finally settled on a set of six seasonings for my standard kit (exclusive of salt and sugar): onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, msg (yes, msg), citric acid, and ginger. I first started out with the small size spices from the supermarket, which are about 2 fl oz each. As it turns out, they weigh quite a lot when filled. So, I decided to reserve that set for group camping, and for my next version, I ordered a bunch of Nalgene 30 mL (~1 fl oz) wide mouth HDPE bottles. That was a big improvement, but I realised very quickly that I didn’t actually need to carry that much seasoning for shorter trips. So, when I realised the GSI set is made up of three 0.5 fl oz compartments and three 0.3 fl oz compartments, I figured that would be a good size for weekend trips. I use the smaller sides for the msg, cayenne, and citric acid, since those are used in much smaller quantities, and the larger sides for the onion, garlic, and ginger. I’ve decided I’m going to order a second set, even, for two reasons. First, that one black cap bugs me; with a second set, I can either have all white caps, or have one unit with two black caps. Second, a fourth container would allow me to bring two savory spices, for which I will probably bring cinnamon and cardamom, opening up a wider range of flavors I can cook with on the trail. That will leave me with two extra containers for spares, in case I lose one, or in case I want to swap out the fourth for a different set of spices/herbs. I’m Asian, and I love to mix all eight of my standard seasonings for a campfire stir-fry: salt, sugar, msg, onion, garlic, ginger, citric acid, and cayenne. Adding cinnamon and cardamom allows me to reach into more South and Southeast Asian flavors, as well. The GSI containers are heavier than the Nalgene 30mL bottles, but the size is better for a solo camper, and the volume savings makes it worth the trouble. I could just fill the Nalgene bottles only halfway, but they would still take up the same volume in my pack. Update: After removing the inner shaker caps and silly rubber bandolier, the three bottles together weigh 87 g. Six of the Nalgene 30 mL HDPE wide mouth round bottles weigh 68 g. So, the GSI bottles are substantially heavier, because they hold only about half as much inside, the overall weight will end up being substantially lower in my pack, and the smaller amounts will still be plenty for a 3-day weekend trip, and possibly longer, for a solo backpacker/camper.

Great idea for the trail
These are great little shakers. Just what you need on the trail if you want to make you food and comfort just a little better. They are quality plastic, durable, and well thought out. The two different sides are a little different in depth, for what reason... I'm not sure why, but they work. They come with two hole sizes on the tops for salt/pepper vs. flakey herb type spices. I love them. Tiny little things with great pay off in comfort. They seem like they will last a lifetime. Now if I can find the 6 essential spices to put in them to make trail meals orgasmic, and that will seduce the backpack off Lady Luck herself. Salt, Pepper, Paprika, Granulated Garlic, Mrs. Dash, Cocaine Powder..... hmmmm.

Perfect for seasoning on the go!
These are perfect for those who would be backpacking. They would be great to go along with a jetboil or any camp stove. That’s not why I bought this though. I work with a bunch of thieving bastards. They think that anything in my storage bin is public property. So when at work when I would want to season/salt my lunch/dinner. I would go to my storage bin and my salt packets and other things would be gone. I got so sick of people taking everything that I bought this and keep in my bag. Now I just sit back and laugh when they all complain about not having any sort of seasoning anymore for their food. That joy and laughter was worth the price!

VERY SMALL
These are much smaller than what I thought they would be. I am a little disappointed in that. Yes they are for our backpacking, and yes, I want to keep the weight down that I am traveling with. However, I like spices in my food, and I will have to carry a couple of these to hold all the spices I will need--basically putting the same spices in both sets of containers. Each of the 3 connected containers have a top half and a bottom half. One of the halves is a little bigger than the other half. I need to carry salt, pepper, cinnamon (which I will use all of in our morning oatmeal), basil, oregano, and taco seasoning. There is enough for backpacking 1 maybe 2 days, but that is it. The lids do screw on securely and the containers feel sturdy and strong. Time will tell if they can withstand some good hikes.

I’m SO in LOVE with this product!!!!
This product ROCKS! We went to Atlantis in the Bahamas and made sure we stayed at the Reef Hotel where your room has a full kitchen so we could prepare several meals for ourselves since they have a market in the hotel! I bought three of the magical little spice holders and they were PERFECT! We plan on using them throughout the summer when RVing/Camping. Truly a Great Purchase and I was thrilled that they came with spice labels!
