Sad I bought this
Edited review: After using this product for awhile, I was pleased to find it worked well and I didn't have any pain in my hand. BUT, now the area where I plug the recharge cord in (the female port) appears to be damaged, and I cannot plug a USB charger into it anymore. I believe this item is poorly designed. It is hard to hold and plug the cord in properly at the same time.*****This product is much larger than I expected, but thankfully it is light, so I can rest it on my lap for use during TV watching. It runs off a rechargeable battery, which is nice. However, the area in which you plug the cord in, is recessed. I have arthritis in my right thumb. Since I'm right-handed, it's hard for me to plug the cord in without wincing in pain. Bad design, IMO. Plus, you only get the charge cord. You do NOT get the electric plug - the thing that plugs into the wall. I used the charging cord and electric plug from our digital camera, and this works fine. The instruction manual was written by someone for whom English is not their primary language. For example, "This product has no waterproof. Do not immerse water." The manual contains lots of warnings and cautions, but it does not tell you exactly where to place your hand. There are little bumps and ridges inside that, I assume, are guides. But, given the size of the item, it would be helpful to have a diagram showing you on what bump or ridge you should place your palm, fingers, and heel of your hand. I'll figure it out in time.I like the heat and vibration features, but they had little impact on first usage. I'm still trying to figure out the massage programs. I was startled at first when the device encased my hand in a vise grip. Good thing the owner's manual said to turn off the device and not to yank my hand out.The inner fabric emits an odor that I hope will go away in time. Upon first use, my hand stunk. The smell went away after I gave my hand a good scrub.I’ll have to spend more time using it. I hope it works. It’s pretty expensive not to.

Excellent for carpal tunnel
Very glad I bought this. My only complaint is I wish it went a little further up the forearm

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife like in September, as she lightly complained of her arthritis in her hands. Having it a couple of weeks, noticed she was in real pain one night and said here early Christmas present. One the first things she does when she comes home...Simply loves it...I dont have arthritus but had to try it...feels real good...all of it, heat, kneading and the pressure..A1 this is..worth every penny

Provides some relief from carple tunnel syndrome
A good part of carpel tunnel relief therapy. In addition to this massage, exercises are essential! Significant pressure even at the lowest setting.

It's not a massager however....
I'm a tattoo artist and my hand and wrist goes through the ringer on a daily basis. 6 - 8 hours of intense muscle contractions in my wrist, hands and fingers. I was skeptical of this contraption at first but let me tell you, I am so glad that Ibought it. It's a little misleading that it's called a massager because the vibrate function isnt what you think it would be. But what it does do, is compresses your hand and wrist which enhances circulation in a way that you wouldnt believe. There is also a heat function which is great for better circulation, as well. I pop my hand in this thing on breaks and when I go back to work my hand performance is smooth as silk. It's also great for post work treatment, when I dont use it, there is much more soreness and stiffness the next day. Summation, for what I do and need this for, it works and well.Durability, I bought this thing 2 years ago and it is still running strong. It's been beat up by my toddler and has withstood the test of time and abuse. I would highly recommend this item to anyone who needs to maintain a hand that does fine work, or a lot of work.
