When I'm traveling and check a bag, I like to use a nylon zip tie on the zippers. I know its not much security but maybe its enough to encourage a less than honest person to stick his hand in the next bag with easy to open zippers. Anyway, when I get where I'm going, I need a way to cut off the zip tie so I keep a toe nail clipper in the front pocket of my suitcase. Works great as long as you don't pull the zip tie tight like your life depends on it. I also use it to clip the tail of the tie. In the front pocket, its always there where I need it and its not offensive to TSA. I don't take it with me through security because who knows what is going to be a problem this time. On my last trip I had a devil of a time cutting the tie off and noticed the blade was messed up. Time for new ones. These Revlon clippers seemed well made, cut great, and were priced right. I expect I'll get years of use out of them. Oh yeah, if you're looking for something to clip your toe nails, these will do fine.

Best Nail Clippers Ever. The first one I bought stayed sharp for 23 years. Good for finger nails and toenails. The second one I bought lasted 15 years until I lost it while on vacation. I bought my third one recently. I give them as gifts and everyone loves them.

Thankfully, that’s not the case here. The cutting edge is sharp and sturdy enough to cut-off even fairly thick nails. How does the clipper feel in hand? The grip is great, actually. It’s about the right size for a girl with medium-sized palms, and thanks to the sharpness and solid build, it’s easy to trim nails either with right or left hand. Feel yourself like a ambidexter! My verdict: this is a quality tool that I can confidently recommend. It's worth every penny!
