I started using Semco 4 years ago. Compared with other teak deck treatments it is a wonder. For us, resealing each year works fine. It does not look like varnish, but simply a subtle well cared for teck. When I found out about Semco, I looked a some you-tubes and followed their suggestion to simply apply the Semco with a small towel dipped in a cup of the liqued. That makes an even application easy and also gets better coverage.

This was recommended to us when we bought our teak furniture. First time application was a bit challenging since it’s pretty thin and I’d highly recommend applying outdoors due to odor. We applied in garage the first time and it took some time for the smell to go away! However, I’m sure this is usual for any teak stain. I trust it to protect my expensive outdoor furniture.

This sealant was just perfect for my new teak dining set. The natural color was exactly to my taste. It left my set with a touch darker but not like the golden color does. I used the solo pump sprayer and then wiped it down. It was easy but took some time since I had 9 pieces to do.

While I found the white ring hard to remove, the application was easy.I suggest using some type of protective gloves.

This is the second year I have used this product on my boat. Good results. The tone is "natural" which gives the teak the look of new unfinished teak...yellow-gold...the color of the rating stars.
