Modifying Front Grille for 2011-2016 F250 Ford F-250 F-350 F-450 F-550 Raptor Style Grill with 3 LED Amber Lights and Replaceable Letters - (IT is Gray)

My favorite part of a F-150 Raptor is the front grill, so I was really excited to see this product. It mounted up perfectly and gave me the look I was going for.

The only thing I did not like about the grill is the color. Not so much what color as how much of the same color. The whole grill is a metallic charcoal flat paint. I dressed it up by painting the honeycomb silver. I will be getting the grill suround painted tuxedo black at a later date.As for the parts that you get, it is a 1 piece replacement grill. That being said, you will need to reuse the header connector from your old grill. I will try to add a picture to illustrate. You will need to save 4 plastic rivets and a bolt that secure the header connector to the grill assembly.To wire the lights I ran the supplied harness over to behind the passenger side headlight. I taped into the parking lamp harness. The wires on my 2011 f250 were black for negative and yellow with blue stripe for positive. The yellow with purple stripe is for turn signal/flasher. Verify this with a meter first.Some people have said that the f and r letters shipped separately. They came with mine.

Works great and looks great. It's about a 25 minute install. Hook the led wires up to the parking lights on the head lights.

First it's not black , more like silverfish , so if you want black you'll have to paint it like I did , the Ford letters are shipped separately , so don't expect them the same day as the grill, ? , I had one light out on mine, they did send me a new one which worked fine , but it took 3 weeks.....

Great product. Fast shipping. All the parts included to spell DROF. It comes in black I have sent my out to be painted the same color as my truck.

Took some brainstorming to get installed as the instructions leave some to be desired. There was a pin that was pushed to far back causing one of the lights to not work. Once we pulled the pin back to where it should go works great!

Easy install. Loved the way it changed the look of my 2015 F250! Instructions did not mention that the bracket that attaches the existing grill needs to be used on the new one. It was easy to figure that out though. Very much worth it!
