Does what it says on the side of the iron….light & easy to use for someone with a painful shoulder problem! Just misses out on a 5* rating as no adjustable steam control.

I now have two of these irons as I wanted a second one for my sewing room. The sole plate has a good quality surface and I have no issues using it. It is easy to tell what temperature I have set and it is good value for money. I accidently marked the item as not received, but this was a mistake. The delivery company marked it as "handed to resident" which wasn't the case so I thought it had gone elsewhere but it turned up on my doorstep. Why they couldn't ring the doorbell to let me know I don't know!

I liked that this iron is lightweight, but I found I wasn't so keen on the plastic plate as it made a difference ironing some items.

Pleased with purchase. Having broken my wrist 6 months ago, my wrist is still weak and my old iron was heavy to use, this iron is perfect being light weight. Irons smoothly, gets all the crinkles out. steams well. Just wish it had the facility to steam on low setting as well. Having read the product spec. it does not steam on low settings.

Bought as a gift for my daughter who recently moved into a new home. They have tried it once and found it pretty good for what they need which is mainly her partner's uniform. They said it's fairly easy to use so. I can't comment on long term use but it seems good for purpose.

Easy to lift not a heavy iron, needed one for easier manoeuvrability due to wrist restrictions.

I bought one of these for my mother who suffers from macular degeneration. She found she could not see properly enough to fill her old iron with water as the filler was too small. It was also too heavy for her. This Russell Hobbs is light, brightly coloured and has a large filler which mum can find much more easily so there is no more water all over the worktop! She is really happy with it. Highly recommended.
