This book is a wonderful journey into our intuition, which is really our birthright. We've been talked out of believing in it or relying on it. There are simple effective practices and great stories to help anyone come home to themselves and develop their innate intuitive abilities. Torkildson is a lovely and heartful guide for this process. I especially love her embodiment practices, and her suggestions for working WITH our emotions. Priceless.

I bought this because I know the author a little bit from way back and have respected her as a person for many years. I'm glad I gave it a try, it gives clarity, real clarity. I have shelves of books that say they will inform readers along this line but this one cuts through the crowd of authors who are merely repackaging information that in practice doesn't ring true or the writing doesn't respect the journey and the reader. Maura writes from her experiences of truly helping her own life evolution and that of others. Reading this I feel like I am in a safe environment where my needs and abilities are being reawakened and gently brought to the surface to move forward in a better way. If this book is calling you, know that it likely will do the same for you.

This book was so easy to read. The author's writing style is not overly academic and stuffy, which I really appreciated. It was a good introduction to her sharing beliefs relating trees to our own inner strengths and intuition. Very easy to understand brain food that sticks with you.

This book brought me to tears, right out the gates of reading I found a commonality with the author, and found myself silent inside the sound of her voice. She moved me with her personal journey, and then her wisdom, as she helped me to see Tree's as the inner metaphor of our own intuition. As an intuitive writing coach, and woman that spent her childhood raised off the gird in the wild, I felt the words of this book drawing me home, to a familiar place, in which, the heart whispers to us in quiet moments. It was such a joy to know there are great artist, writer's, and visionaries in this world, like Maura, who are doing their work, breathing from the heart, to bring us a vital message to help us live our best life.
