I used to be really tan as a kid and as an adult I haven’t spent as much time outside, so I am extremely pale, and I am tired of it and this year I decided to invest in helping my tan rather than just hoping that it would happen and these pictures are before, and after my first use ! I only laid out in the sun for seven minutes on each side because I did not want to burn. I did not do like all of the other comments and reviews, and lay out there for an hour. I want to slowly build my tan over the summer and this product is definitely going to do that, but if you’re not careful, it will make you burn. Also I did not use with sunscreen another reason I did not stay out long with this on I did shower after I was outside because I was so sweaty and the tan did not wash off. This is not a fake tan. This helps intensify your own natural tan.

I purchased a jar of Carroten Tanning Gel and I absolutely LOVE it! I am very fair skinned, but come Spring, I start to try and get a tan, but I am so pale that I burn easily in the beginning but then it settles in and I tan, but I can never get dark without some kind of help from various products, I can never really dark. With baited breath, I looked for my old favorite Bain' De Soleil but sadly, they discontinued it, I know, I know, it was a product that I used in the 80's but man that stuff was great, and that made me so sad, but then I got a suggestion from Amazon for the Carroten Intensive Tanning Gel. After reading the reviews, and after some research, people even mentioned that it was like the Bain' De Soleil, minus the SPF 4 and I knew that I had to try it and ordered a jar of Carroten Intensive Tanning Gel and wow, the first day, I had stripes, I was red, don't get me wrong, but I was also a darker color than I could've ever gotten with any other product, and faster, other than getting a fake spray tan. Carroten Intensive Tanning Gel has no SPF factor so keep that in mind because you will burn if you're not careful, but in the long run, I got a deeper, darker tan than I ever could have on my own. I highly recommend the Carroten Intensive Tanning Gel, just know that it is greasy and it will get on your clothes so make sure you wear a T-shirt that you don't care about, but definitely try this, go slowly, and you won't regret it.

Holy (brown) cow! This arrived yesterday, which was super fast BTW, and I put it on today while going in the pool for like maybe hour and a half, and this stuff gave me such a great color in such a short time! It melts into the skin and a little goes a long way. I put spf 30 under it and just hung out, I wasn't just laying there, but swimming, cleaning pool, just doing stuff and it gave such a beautiful brown color to my blue eyed blonde haired self, not fair but maybe a light medium skin tone. It also beaded the water and handled swimming and didn't come off. I love it, will be reordering another jar or 2 right now cuz I want it every time I'm in the sun! Love it!

I've been using this for months now. Every time I put it on, I see a glow immediately and love the little sparkle before I actually get a tan. The results from even small amounts of time in the sun are amazing. I spent a week using it several times and was getting compliments on my tan. The rainy season has begun so I've not been able to use it as much lately. I've even put a little on my legs while going on outdoor trips to parks or the zoo with my daughter to get a bit of moisture on with the tinted glow of a tan.I have noticed it will stain your lighter clothes so just be careful when wearing.

I saw an influencer using this on Instagram and she said it’s worked Great, so I thought why not try it myself. Used it twice this weekend once at the pool and once just riding on the boat. I tan easy but you do need to apply sunscreen first then use this next. It rubs in easy but I did wash my hands in case it stains but it never got on the towel I was using. I shared with my family and they loved it as well and have order their own to take to the beach soon.

I laid out for 1 hour (30 mins front/back)...UV index 9, temp 88F, humidity 60%. I don't tan super easy until it gets going and did have a bit of a base tan already but am now a couple shades darker...not burned or red (I always lay out with a spray bottle of water and keep myself misted so water was involved as well). More than I expected for 1 hour of sun (I normally do 45-60 mins on each side but it's HOT out today...we're actually in a heat advisory right now). It does leave color on clothes...haven't washed my swim suit yet so not sure if it stains. Smells OK (doesn't stink...I just prefer tropical/coconut fragrance in my tanning lotions/gels/sprays). It is kinda oily...not baby oil oily but more so than dry oil tanning sprays. It left my skin feeling hydrated, silky and smooth. Over all I like it and plan to continue using.Oh...and the spatula...it's useless and looks more like an eyebrow than a spatula. I'm not sure how you would even use it. I only purchased with the spatula because it was cheaper than without.

gives you a great base tan!!! it does eventually plateau (at least for me it did) and then i had to use additional products. i am not someone who naturally tans easily!!!consistent is literally a gel; once you rub it i to your skin you will be pretty sticky until you’ve soaked it all up. honestly it just smells like any other tanning product out there.
