It's a very tight fit in the hot shoe but there's a groove to assist when removing. Don't panic and use something non scratch, I used a chopstick. Having said that it's not on and off all the time. The thumb grip is broad and comfortable, falling exactly in the natural required position. The drive button and wheel are accessible. The length is good, there are shorter and (very cheap) longer ones available that are not as good in my opinion. This is just right, highly recommended.

For some time I had been looking for a way to prevent my hand from pressing the 'Q' button on my camera. This not only does this but gives it more stability. It is well made and fits perfectly and securely in the camera hotshoe

Looks great, colour match not bad but doesn’t sit right into the hot shoe mount. Fuji would greatly benefit doing their own version. If they did I’d likely ditch this and get Fuji’s own.

Nicely built but I find the thumb rest a little on the short side for me. My thumb position feels a little unnatural. Each to their own I guess.

Fits perfectly, it wouldn't ever fall out by itself but it's not too tight that it's a pain to remove. Makes the tiny X100 body feel way more secure in your hand. Colour & finish of the black version matches body extremely well Expensive for a single piece of aluminium but worth it

Bought a second hand silver Fuji x100. This fits perfectly on it with a nice tight fit into the hotshoe, and is the same colour as the camera body. It doesn't obscure any controls on the camera and is a welcome addition to the ergonomics. Can't imagine why you'd want anything else. For the price, it's worth every penny. Recommended.

This thumb grip is the perfect size for the Fujifilm X100F, it also does not get in the way of the rear dial which my previous thumb grip did.

Superb attachment to the Fujifilm X100f, offering a far more secure feel to the camera. One other reviewer mentioned that it was so tight a fit into the hot shoe that it was difficult to remove, I found quite the opposite as it easily slides in and out, in fact a little to easy, I chose the silver type. The shutter and ISO dial adjustment isn't as easy to access when the thumb rest is attached but this really isn't a problem. The hinged type by Lensmate would have been ideal but at more than double the price and the fact it has to be shipped from the USA makes this a 'no brainer' as they say.

I've been visiting London (from the US) for a week with my X100F, which I've had for a month, and this thumb grip came in the mail just before I boarded the plane to the UK. The grip slides into the hot shoe very nicely and snugly--really a perfect fit with no movement whatsoever. I also love that the white lettering/branding is on the underside of the thumb rest, so all you can see is the solid color of the thumb grip (my camera and thumb grip are solid black). It really looks slick. With the thumb grip, I feel MUCH more comfortable carrying the X100F with one hand, while walking down the street (with no strap, even), and I'm able to shoot with one hand, though I usually don't. It offers very nice stability for transport, though. I absolutely love that the thumb grip doesn't need to be tightened down--there are no screws, and none are needed, as the fit is so perfect in the hot shoe mount. Finally, I was a little worried I wouldn't be able to easily access my shutter/ISO dial since this thumb grip has no elbow/hinge, but that hasn't been an issue at all. On the occasion that I need to access the dial and I need to squeeze my fingers in there, it's super easy to slide the thumb grip out just a bit, adjust the dial, then slide the thumb grip back into place. But, that's not necessary all the time--usually just when I need to turn the dial more than a few clicks. To only make one or two clicks on the dial, I can leave the grip in the hot shoe as is. Because of the perfect fit in the hot shoe mount, there's no risk of the grip falling out when it's pulled out half way or anything. Quite nice. When I bought this for under twenty bucks as a trial because I didn't want to pay sixty for the version with the elbow when I wasn't sure how well I'd like a thumb grip, I never imagined it'd be of such high quality. I'm super pleased and highly recommend the product.

Works great on my x100f, fits well with no wiggle room and offers a more ergonomic feel. Doesn't really get in the way of the scroll button but does make it a little tough to change the ISO dial, not terribly hard but a little in the way.

X100V用に購入しました。 デザインも良く操作キーを邪魔することなく使いやすいと思います。 指掛けの位置が丁度良く親指のポジションがベストマッチです。 この手の商品あるねじ止め式のサムレストがありますが、あれはホットシューの端子を痛めるので とても使用するに至れません。 こちらはねじ止め式ではなくしっかりと装着でき緩んで抜け落ちてくるようなことはありません。

X-M1で使用。 短いためダイヤルとも干渉せず使いやすいです。剛性もしっかりありギュッと握れます。だいぶ持ちやすくなるのでおすすめです。
