Prestige Pressure Regulator Whistle with Weight Assembly for Prestige Pressure Cookers

1995 Prestige Pressure Pan (I guess 3L model). The locking knob underside of the vent tube gave up after serving for more than 24 years of daily use. All other parts are original and intact (tip: never put pressure cooker in a dishwasher and subject it to harsh detergents which can corrode handles and rubber ring). Therefore I desperately needed this part. I am impressed that this part is a perfect fit. This one comes with 3 things: stainless steel vent tube stem, aluminum locking but with holes and a stainless steel vent weight. Vent weight is genuine TTK Prestige part, other two may be aftermarket but I care less as it fits perfectly. Just the vent stem is also available as spare part in Asian grocery stores but the original 1995 model vent weight won’t fit because older models have slightly larger diameter (just slightly larger) and original vent weight will not fit (it will be loose and as cooker gets pressurized the weight will fly). Was delivered as promised and packaging was good. In anticipation that this won’t fit, I ordered Prestige Senior Pressure Pan from the same vendor so now I have old is gold cooker back to life and a new one (which is somewhat bulkier than pressure pans from 90s).

Not same as shown in the picture. It's new type, but works for my old prestige cooker.

My old weight required 3 whistles to boil dal, this one requires 5 . I can understand why, and most of the time due to more time under cooking Dal gets burnt.

I marked this low only because I did not get what thought i was getting. I have been searching for a 15 PSI regulator for my pressure cooker. That is because I live at 6700 feet and the higher pressures is a must here for canning meat. This was described as a 3 pressure Regulator. Knowing that regulators can come in 3 pressures 5 - 10 and 15 PSI I thought I had it. But it is only a signal weigh and worse yet the pressure or weight is not marked on it so I have no of knowing how much pressure it will develop in my cooker. If any one could give me some advice on this i'd be grateful.
