Pink Floyd: The Wall

Awesome movie/musical!! One of my favorite albums so of course it’s a great movie.

Perfect quality and in great shape when it arrived.

Wonderful for my Floyd collection, perfect sound quality and video quality. I actually think it's better than my original was.

Great quality video and really enjoy all the extra items and interviews. Well worth the money for any Pink Floyd fan.

Amazing movie came in Amazing shape

Was worried this might be some bootleg, but took a chance. So glad I did. This is in fact a new, unopened, in original packaging, 25th anniversary edition of the movie. Comes with poster and as you can see on the sticker of the photo I took, it also includes some documentary and interviews. I'm interested in watching those. I had The Wall on VHS way back in the day, was so glad I found this DVD. Good price and I received mine the following day I ordered (there are 2,maybe 3 Amazon's within an hour from home).......

This is a reedit of the original - and a worthy one. The story I heard was that Waters and Parker wandered into a matinée showing of the original in London one afternoon, post-millennium, and were appalled at the film they'd made. What originally worked as genius, catering to a 70s and 80s crowd, no longer felt relevant to them. I suspect the original was intended to be seen in a somewhat, um, elevated state of mind (with chemical assistance). They took it back to the editing room and recut it drastically, removing a ton of the droning, repetitive animation and paring it down to a very terse, very tight film. I loved the original, don't get me wrong, but it was a bit of a hair-shirt of a film in spots. This version is solid, tells the story better, and still has the impact of the original (but without the need for chemical assistance to appreciate it). If you haven't seen it, get it. I'm thinking of pairing this with Samuel Goldwyn's "The Best Years of Our Lives" as part of a Memorial Day movie marathon - that film being the story of returning WW-II veterans and this one being about the cost of that war on the children born during it. Both are moving, sometimes painful to watch, and ultimately hopeful (yes, as dark as The Wall is, there is hope at the end).

This product smells like cheap perfume. I can't keep it near anything else, it was so pervasive. Good product otherwise but if strong perfumes offend you, don't.

Es una edición muy buena audio en idioma original en inglés 5.1 imágen perfecta subtítulos en español, cabe aclarar que es región 1 no todos los equipos vendidos en México los pueden reproducir hay que tomarlo en cuenta, pero es un excelente producto lo recomiendo ampliamente para la colección. El envío como siempre perfecto

日本で再生できる規格ではありませんでした。 リージョンフリーだと見間違えて注文したのが失敗でしたが、以前のAmazonのように「このDVDは日本国内では再生できません」的な表記があれば買わずに済んだと思います。
