i'll update if anything changes. the battery definitely fits a Latitude E6430. it clicks into place easily. for $22 i can finally use the laptop i was gifted instead of leaving it on the charger all the time.

I have an older laptop and needed a replacement battery. This one works well. It doesn't give me as much time without an outlet as I had hoped but that's because I didn't order the more powerful battery. It works well otherwise.

This is my second time buying a replacement battery my laptop computer. The 1st time was through another company that sold it on Amazon. I would say that the battery lasted about 2-3 years before it was time to replace it. I still don't want to part ways with my computer because some of the programs I use either has changed or they are extinct. When my battery arrived (on time) I hurried to put it in my computer and it turned on without the warning to replace my battery. I'm able to keep my computer on (without it being plugged in for power). Now I've owned this computer for over 10 years and know that I will eventually have to...get a new one. As far as the time of use before I have to recharge it is about 2-2 1/2 hours (but it has always been that way since I brought it originally.) Overall the battery works good for this model laptop computer.

Wow, I am so glad that I bought it. My laptop screen was black. Now it is working after I installed it.
