EMD GP40 Diesel Locomotive UNION PACIFIC® #508 (without dynamic brakes) - N Scale

Have been using Loco for several Months. It has great detail for a small size. On a 34 inch loop of oval track I put as many cars on as the track could handle (23) and the Loco pulled them with no problem but High speed was a little slower than with no cars, so sure it could pull more on a larger layout. As a second test I ran a second Loco Back to Back like you see on the Big Trains. I had to remove a couple cars to fit the Second Loco in. This combo would pull a ton of cars on a large layout. More than I have for sure.

Excellent value! I opened the box and put the locomotive to work on my 2x4 n scale build. It runs smooth and quiet and has no problems with coupling or uncoupling. The details are great and ready for personal touches. I would definitely purchase again.

Had issues performing smoothly on code 55 rail, especially on turnouts. Looks like flanges on wheels are the source.

I bought this one used from amazon. It works great. I even had to break it in. Detailed and looks real.

Nice Looking engine but disappointed how slow this engine ran compared to my other Bachmann engines and Kato engines. Also surprise had to pick up at post office thus paid duty $33.41 Can
