Used on a 2014 VW Polo
Very bright, if you into modifying your car slightly then I suggest getting these licence plate lights. They are LED so it's a fine white light that emits from the little LED nits.

Heats up, can’t touch
The product looks like a good choice for the price, and the reviews seem decent, but when I tested it on install (2015 mk7 golf tsi) the wires/connections got extremely hot even after 1 minute of running, and I decided to take them off — I’m not risking something like this in my car. I’ll be returning and getting a different brand.

Easy to Install and works perfectly
Great product was a lot brighter than I expected and NO error on dash! Car looks much slicker. Would definitely recommend if anyone is considering to buy this product.

Bright LEDs Hot Resistors
Fitted these LEDs to Golf 7 the install was really easy no tools required. The LED modules themselves seem good but the resistors are a cause for concern. After 2 minuites of operation they become scortching hot which I was very unconfortable about leaving behind the bumper so left them disconnected. The resistors are required as to fool the car into been normal filimant bulbs fitted. Because the use of these resistors these will use the same power consumption of a regular standard bulb. The soloution It is possible to use these LEDs without the resistors and without any bulb warning if the coding of the car ECU is changed for LED use. Coding Change for Golf 7 (may by the same for other VAG group cars) 09 Central Electrics Adaptation Leuchte25KZL HA59-Lasttyp 25 Change value "18 - 2* 5W" to "40 - allgemeine LED" Doing this will disable monitoring of the licence plate bulbs thus no more check bulb warnings when converted to LEDs.

Super impressed! So easy to fit, perfect fit, no wobble or lose fit. Very bright & most importantly no canbus errors. After using them for a few days I decided to tint them as they were too bright, they lit up the road as well as the car Buy with confidence
