I like the “blunt” tip for child safety compared to point tip scissors. The design of the fingers grip makes it easier for a child to manipulate. Super easy for child to cut paper, oak tag paper, and string. Sturdy. Came in two different grips colors; one pink/one light green. Color variation was mentioned in the description.
