I didn't use this for a child's room. I was looking for a short coat rack for a particular space in my home. The regular ones were too tall and not really adjustable. I also wanted dark wood. I found this child's coat rack and it looked perfect so I ordered it with my fingers crossed. Well - it is perfect. It took me less than 10 minutes to put together and I have arthritis in both hands! It feels very solid and sturdy. It holds up to 11 pounds which is much more than I would ever need. It fits perfectly in the space I wanted it to under pictures I have hanging on the wall and blends well with my mahogany accent table it is next to in the space. I am totally thrilled with this coat rack.

Very cute coat rack! Super easy to assemble, no tools needed. All the prices screw in tightly and it’s very sturdy. Looks great in my office! The pieces were a bit scratched up when they arrived. Just enough so the white base coat of paint showed through the coffee colored finish, but on almost all the pieces. :( I think they must have rubbed together in transit. Oh well. A quick touch up with a furniture marker fixed it right up and no one will ever notice. :) I would definitely recommend this coat tree and I will likely be buying another one!

This was super easy to assemble and feels fairly sturdy, even on our thick carpet. The color is what I expected but looks more painted than stained so may show scratches more noticeably. You cannot see any woodgrain whatsoever. I also did not read the description very well. This is only 52" high so more appropriated for a child's clothing or coats than an adult's. For the price, it seems a decent quality but I'm not sure I will be keeping it, given the shortness of it. I can't deduct a star for my lack of attention to detail, however so it still get's 4 stars as it is exactly as represented.

This is a great coat rack. Perfect size, super easy to assemble, and nice quality. You can use it for more than just coats.. mine is a stocking holder!!I will probably let my son use it in his room for his hooded sweatshirts after Christmas. I absolutely love this. Came quickly too!

I like the look and it was very easy to put together, but I was bummed to see that the top bar of the coat tree came cracked. I'm hoping they could send me a new one, while I use this one one in the meantime to keep coats off the floor. - SK

This coat rack was perfect. The only reason I returned it was because the base of the coat rack was broken. It has other flaws but nothing noticeable to others. I wanted to order a replacement but decided to search online for one I can purchase locally. Definitely worth the price. Wished it hadn’t been broken.

I was tired of consistently pick up my kids hats and coats on the floor so I decided to buy this coat rack just for them.I received it promptly and assembled it in less than 5 min. My kids love it and use it!Perfect size, robust and easy to assemble. I highly recommend.
