Works as well as it can
With the ban on methylene chloride, this is probably the best you can get. Nothing strips paint off like methylene chloride, but since you can't get it any more we're stuck with second best. This stuff took off some ultra thick polyurethane on a cabinet humidor pretty easily. I did have to apply it two or three times to get it all of. I also had to wrap the area in plastic wrap. Leave it for 2 hours. Come back and the finish came off easy with a paint scraper. It's work.. but this does better than anything else I tried.

Great stuff for light jobs! Fast!
I love this stiff for stripping when it is a job where I don't want to strip down to bare wood. In the photo I am stripping a layer of flat rust paint off of baseboards to get to the original layer of amber tinted varnish. I just paint on the remover and swirl the brush till I see the paint lifting. Then I take the Dollar Tree scrub brush in the photo and run it up and down with the grain. The remover and paint crumbles off. The brush gets into any grooves like the top where it is routered. Then I just spray watet and wipe. I am left with the golden color in the photo. This saves SO much time. All that takes just literally two minutes. It dries quick so you can't leave it sitting like the others. Very strong smelling so make sure you are in a well ventilated area and should probably use a face mask of some sort. For the brush I like the plastic on pine so scratches aren't there and I won't have to sand. Tougher and thicker paint I do recommend the other kinds of removers that sit for a while. I tried this on things that I did want to get through thicker layers but because it dries after a couple minutes it doesn't have time to get into the paint. It will work but you have to keep reapplying so I highly recommend for easier jobs that don't require the messy stuff. When you remove it comes off in dry crumbs rather than scraping a thick pasty goo. Overall very happy. Takes about as much time as just cleaning the baseboards to do.

Does not work at all
I saw this product on YouTube and bought it. Huge waste of money. After hours of trying over and over again, it does not work. I tried spreading it and waiting.. tried spreading it and then covering it with paper towels and adding more of it on top of the paper towels and then covering it with plastic, then tried only spreading it and then covering it with plastic... nothing works. I believe if you have raw paint, it may remove that.. but if you have a varnish or clear coat... it does nothing. After multiple attempts, I then used a high pressure pressure washer. When you point it directly at the paint, some places the paint kinda comes off, but only barely... I spent about 1 1/2 hours trying to get as much paint off as possible. Got about 10% off... then I gave up.. I paid for the paint remover so I wouldn't have to do this.. My order came with 2 gallons and I can't get my Money back. I am disappointed.

Cabinet repurpose project
Great at removing paint quickly. You did have to use a lot of the product to get it to work well. Works in 5-10 mins. Will not strip varnish, I used 3 applications and still didn’t take off the glossy finish.

The orange stuff works better.
Didn't seem to penetrate the two layers of deck over paint on my concrete pool walkway, before drying out. I plan on putting it on thicker and covering it with a plastic sheet to keep it from drying out and giving it more time to penetrate. I discovered it works pretty well IF 1) you put it on thick - 2 to 3 times the thickness of what you're trying to remove; 2) Wait an appropriate amount of time (depending on thickness and temperature/humidity) could be 10 minutes to 3 hours) - if you see it drying out, you've waited to long; 3) scrape it off with a sharp scraper.

Works just OK..after a learning curve
I used this to strip old varnish off a 100yr wood floor. The first thing I learned is I got nowhere using 2 mins so I toss that idea out. 4 minutes is more like it. It also required a second coat in many areas. The fiumes were not bad. Do not let this stuff dry out or you just wasted your time and stripper. I put the gel on thick, and used a plastic scraper to remove it. It's definitely not a case where you slosh it on and 2 mins later you're done. It's not that strong. Once I figured out a routine it went pretty well.

Works FAST!
For a chemical based paint stripper gel I think this is the best on the market. It does work quickly, and the fumes are not so bad. The gel sticks where you put it and it’s very thick making cleanup easier. Highly recommend.

2 Gallons
Reading previous reviews - There were questions as to do you actually receive 2 gallons, some reviews stated only 1 was sent. I just received my 2 gallons which is a great deal for the price. I find that the stripper works well on vintage radios. I do wear a respirator mask when using it.
