Great alternative for getting to work, saves me a lot of money.
This bike works great and very affordable. The bike was already put together except for the wheels and handlebar which to all of 15 minutes to attach and tighten. I have been using it for almost a year now and it is a serious game changer. I don't go many places (work, store, and back home) so paying almost 300 a month for gas and insurance on my car seemed like a waste especially now with gas prices the way they are. Now I'm getting a little extra exercise and saving a ton of money at the same time. Also the customer service for this bike is amazing. My bike suddenly quit working out of nowhere ( I exclusively ride this bike everyday and in winter so I wasn't super shocked) and when I messaged the seller explaining what was going on they sent me a replacement motor and controller for free since it was still under warranty, and now it runs better than ever. The battery life was surprisingly long, and lasted me almost two round trips from home to work to home and work again without a need for a charge up. A heads up for anyone about to buy this bike, do not charge the battery unless absolutely necessary. If your battery is below 40 or 30 percent then yeah you should probably charge it up. I ruined my original battery that came with the bike from plugging it in after every trip thinking keeping the battery 100 percent fully charged was a good idea (it's not). I would plug it in at home and leave it charging over night and then when I got to work I would leave it plugged in there too all day until I would go home and repeat the cycle all over. This made it so the battery would not hold a charge and you will end up needing to buy a brand new battery which costs almost as much as the bike itself. However I will say, if you can afford it, go ahead and order the bike and buy an upgraded battery, just make sure it is from ancheer and it is the same wattage as the original. That way you can experience the full potential of the bike and still have a backup battery for emergency. Upgrading the battery takes it from an ok ebike to a excellent ebike (i.e. power, distance you can go and ability to climb steep hills)

Solid Commuter E-bike
I’ve put around 50 miles on this bike so far, using it primarily to commute to and from school, and overall I’ve been really impressed. It’s been reliable, smooth, and surprisingly quick, I’ve hit up to 30 mph downhill, which makes for a fun ride. On flat or moderate terrain, it maintains a good cruising speed without effort. The motor is strong enough to handle steep inclines, even with my weight at around 230 lbs. I typically climb hills at around 10 mph, which is more than respectable for a bike at this price point. The ride feels stable, and it hasn’t given me any mechanical issues so far.The battery is the only real drawback. It works fine for my daily commute, but I find myself charging it every day, mainly out of caution, especially with the elevation around my area. It would be nice to have a bit more range, but it hasn’t left me stranded.Pros:Fast and smooth ride (up to 30 mph downhill)Handles hills well even with heavier ridersReliable over daily use and mileageCons:Battery could offer more range; requires daily charging in hilly areasIf you’re looking for a reliable e-bike for commuting, especially in moderately hilly terrain, this one is a great mix of performance, fun, and value.

A great bike for a large child or a small adult.
I bought this for a 14 yo weight about 140 pounds. It works perfectly for them. It has been great. The battery and wheel combination is strong. The control are simple and easily used. It has gone over 100 miles already. As a major addition the brake handle got broken due to an impact. Not a major one but apparently enough. I got in contact with Ancheer and got a new handle without any trouble. I got it mounted and it was simple and easy. Well thought out. But I do hope to not have to replace any more part... :)So why give it a 4? A few things:1- The throttle "motor-cycle mode" doesn't work with pedal assist on. There are times when we have wanted to get a bit of extra boost without having to change modes completely. This is a small nitpick but it is meaning to me.2- The bike really is not meant for full sized adults. The target had been to have something for the whole family to enjoy it is going to be for kids only. This is likely my fault for not understanding what a 26" bike meant. I thought it meant full size wheels. But it seemed to be more about the frame size or something...3- This is the big one. The rear wheel wobbles when it is running. Lift the bike and run the motor and the whole bike shimmies back and forth it is out of balance enough. I am going to try and figure out if it can be trued or not. It did this right out of the box. Again it is powerful and the motor works great. But it does impact the ride quality. It was not bad enough to want to return the bike but it is constant and present.Bottom Line: Even with the issues with the wheel we liked this bike enough that we bought a second just like this one but in blue as a gift for another child.Great bikes and at this price it, I paid $408 for the bike and $110 in shipping for $518 total, goes beyond great. Having bought a second I would clearly say buy it if the size fits your needs.
