Excellent fit for wahoo mounts and strong glue.
This is my third one of these mounts and all have functioned very well.I use these to attach to a phone case and then slide my phone into the case to be able to use in any of my Wahoo mounts. It's a perfect fit and the adhesive is very strong. I've tested this on a full suspension mountain bike over very rough terrain as well as a road bike and have never had an issue. At one point, I had a Wahoo Roam where the mount broke in a crash. I was able to grind the remains of the tab mount off the bike computer to get the bottom smooth and then used one of these adhesive mounts to be able to use the Wahoo Elemnt Roam again. The adhesive is so good that you need to make sure you have lined it up exactly where you want it before applying it as you won't get a chance to reposition it. I use tape get the right position that draw an outline in pencil for where it needs to be mounted to ensure a precise position for the installation.

FIX FOR BROKEN WAHOO TWIST LOCK
I have used this adapter on my phone as well recently replacing the worn out twist lock on my Wahoo Roam v1. I had contacted Wahoo on my near 2 yr old roam with nearly 1800 miles of pavement, gravel & bike paths seeking repair. They offered me a discount for a new Wahoo. I politely accepted. But I like repairing stuff! I used a wheel grinder to remove 80% of the old twist lock. When I got it down to 1mm I stopped. I then use oxide grit paper strips to finish sand. The I cleaned the surface with alcohol, applied the KOM Adapter. I then took 2 part Epoxy (JB Weld Clear Weld 5 Min. Here on Amazon) to fill in the space between the KOM and Wahoo. Just apply and stuff. Just watch the other side so it don't flow out! I just rocked it so to keep it all under the exposed KOM. The JB Weld does set fast, but NOT in 5 min. Over night in a warm dry place. BE SURE TO RESPECT THE ORIENTATION OF THE TWIST LOCK! Check TWICE JB WELD Once! Has been working fine! I have a spare now.

Sticks perfectly to my phone case
I'm using this to hold my Moto G4 to my touring bike handlebar using the KOM handlebar mount. I stuck this part to the Incipio protective case I use for the Moto G4. The Incipio case has a rubbery coating over a base of smooth plastic. I used a knife to scrape off the rubbery coating where I wanted to stick this adapter. The rubber coating has worn off the sides of the case, and I wanted the adapter to stick directly to the base plastic of the case. Anyway, scraping off the rubbery coating was pretty easy. Then I followed the instructions, using the alcohol prep pad to clean the surface of the case. I have used the Scotch VHB tape in other applications, and I trust it. The KOM mount will break before the VHB tape lets go of my phone. The adapter attaches and releases from the KOM handlebar mount with a secure "click." I like it.

Absolutely, a great investment for me!
I cut out the back of my otter box and attached the mount directly to the back of my Samsung phone. The mount has been on rough county roads (500+ miles), MTB trails (120+ miles), and in and out of my pocket for (30 days). This is an extremely durable product. And now when I ride I have access to any/all of my riding apps at the same time.

Came apart and led to broken phone.
I loved this adapter until it came apart and sent my phone smashing into the road breaking the screen etc. It held on well for about 150 miles until the double sided tape separated from the plastic adapter while cruising along a relatively smooth road. It looks like there isn't all that much plastic from the adapter contacting the adhesive strip (the strip stayed adhered to my phone case no problem).A great idea but poor design. Would buy a V2 model if they updated it. Just glad the phone falling into my front wheel wasn't during a steep turn or descent.

Does what I ask from it
Works great for my needs. I’ve been using it for my Zwift and Trainer Road rides, and it holds just fine. The adhesive is strong and has been holding up for the several weeks I’ve had it. I have no use for it outside, so I can’t comment on less than ideal tarmac.

Expensive. Used in my phone and Worked very good for two weeks and felt.
I thought there were two on the package. To much for one unit usable for very 2 weeks. It was not wet, I sticked and put pressure for 12 hours, clean surfaces. Not enough.
