It was a bit overwhelming trying to compare all the different net options out there. I took the plunge on this one and am very happy with it. Set up in just a few minutes. We've had it outside in all weather for about two months and it still looks brand new. Love the segmented strike zone (that's why I bought this one). I'm throwing fairly hard (70mph) and it does great. Only minor complaint would be the tee that comes as part of the set...even at the shortest setting, it's too tall for my daughters, placing the ball just below the shoulders (my daughters are 5 and 7). Probably need to be 10+ or maybe 12+ to have the ball at an appropriate height (waist-ish) when using the tee. That said, it's a sturdy tee and I like it, and the tee was basically a bonus at only $10 or so to add it to the set. Great net!

Took 5 minutes from out of box to taking swings off the tee. Was very easy to set-up. Training balls are more foam then weighted that I thought were coming with it, but really didn't need them, but would have been nice if they were "heavy" balls. Using in basement for now and FYI, need to set up heavy weight behind to keep from moving, but will work fine when able to get outside with stakes provided. Lastly, tee has plastic wing nuts for height adjustment and they bent and snapped off within days, but easy to get $.50 wing nuts to replace. Recc highly now a week into using twice/day with two boys.

This net has been great so far. It’s sturdy and easy to set up. The only problem is that one of the hooks on the bottom stand to attach the strike zone to was broken but I was able to rig it up to work. The tee is really sturdy and can handle some bad swings.

Easy to assemble in 20 minutes for 12 year old grandson. He spent a good deal of time testing it out yesterday morning. You will need one other adult for last step in assembly.

Got this for my stepdaughter to practice softball batting when she's not here (her mother shares custody) and has no one to help her.She says that she likes it, but the setup is kind of a steep learning curve and we both agree that it is a bit heavy for it to be as "portable" as it is advertised, especially for a 13 y/o. The size of the target seems reasonable to her, and the ball collection net rarely fails. There aren't really any accompanying instructions for use, and the batting tee adjustments don't seem intuitive to her.

I bought this for my kiddos, 12 & 5 years and it is working out perfect. They love throwing with it using the strike zone grid and hitting off the tee. Once we got set-up and take-down of it all figured out, my 12 year old can do it on their own. Great buy!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product. The frame is very sturdy and the net is quite substantial. I honestly did not expect it to be this well made. Breaking it down and packing away does take a few minutes, but it’s worth it for the strength. I would certainly recommend as a great source for backyard batting and throwing practice.

It is hard to tell the quality of an item like this when you order online, so we were pleasantly surprised with this. It is large, good quality and versatile. Set up did not take long. For everything you get in the set, it is worth the price.
