HOMECENSE Premium Bamboo Bathtub Caddy Tray with Extending Sides, Adjustable Reading Rack, Tablet Holder, Cellphone Slot, Wine Glass Slot, Soap Dish, Two Side Trays

Bought this for $19.99 to replace my ToiletTree brand caddy of identical design. The ToiletTree unit worked great for a year+ until the wooden track split and dumped my iPhone in the tub. At least I saved my laptop. Checking what happened I realized the rail wasn't quite thick enough to support the caddy when extended out to bathtub edges. The more narrow the rail...the more concentrated the pressure on the track of the wooden ends. The rail on the ToiletTree unit that split the track was 5.8mm (pictured).Determined not to make the same mistake twice, that was the first thing I checked when I received this Homecense caddy. The Homecense unit was horribly mis-cut. The rail one the Homecense unit was only 2.9mm. In the photos you can clearly see how it should be twice that thickness and in one of the photos you can see the rail is barely on the track.July 6 I shared the photos and info with Homecense. A few days later they responded that they'd send a replacement out on July 15 that should not have any defects. The replacement unit arrived July 17 with the same defect as can be seen in the photo of both side by side.I sent them that photo and their response was "This product is new and we appreciate your expertise on the product. We will share the feedback with our manufacturer's as we work on improving the product."Returned it today. If Homecense were committed to fixing the problem, they wouldn't have sent an identical unit with the same defect and their latest response would have been a firm commitment to fixing the defect, even if it meant a longer delay.Don't risk your time or valuables on this vendor unwilling to make a firm commitment to fixing the precarious defect.*Update: The vendor emailed the following after seeing this review. "You should get a refund. I would glad if you could change the store feedback since it will affect our new store in a major way."Again the vendor conspicuously omits that they're committed to fixing the precarious defect and asks the feedback be changed purely out of their self interest that it affects sales negatively. The vendor doesn't seem to comprehend that making a firm commitment to fix defective inventory is the ethical thing to do. Ethical behavior creates loyal customers and sustainable business. Hopefully the vendor actually fixes or purges their inventory with the defect and doesn't try to make a quick buck off of unsuspecting people.

I bought this item for my hubby because he enjoys taking a bath in our new remodel bathroom/tub while reading his kindle. He’s a runner so baths help his sore muscles . This tray looks great, works perfectly, fits our tub perfectly and has lots of areas for storage or holding specific items (shampoo, soap, drink, book, wine)! We love it!!

I've had mine for almost a year. It's very sturdy. It will fit any tub, because it adjusts. It doesn't get moldy or anything. And the tablet/phone holder hasent broken or loosened at all in this past year, so it's great. I just bought one for my sister, and she absolutely loves it as well.

This tub caddy arrived quickly and seemed to be well made, but I did not remove it from the shrink wrap because the description of it being 27.5 inches fully collapsed was not correct--it is 29.5 inches. Unfortunately, that is the same size as the one I had ordered it to replace.

Love Love LOVE IT! As soon as I unboxed I took a bath. It fit the tub perfectly. My laptop and tablet remained dry. I had room for my reading glasses and beverage. It truly made my bath time a more enjoyable experience.

THIS BATH CADDY TRAY is wonderful!! It is exactly what I wanted for my adult daughter..... it is sturdy and has places for her bath relaxing needs...... candles, books, music, and phone (if needed for music!) :) The wood is beautiful!!A happy mom
