Elegance and dignity instead of candy-smoke
This is NOT perfume-y or candy-like . . . Instead, it is a delightfully complex blend hiding an elusive sweet note within a evergreen/camphor pungency that expresses an archaic elegance. The manufacturer's claim that this incense aids circulation is supported by a septuagenarian incense aficionado whom I know has circulatory problems (Raynaud's Syndrome) who says that this incense usually stimulates warming circulation into his affected hands. Such assertions aside, this Korean incense is reminiscent of the Japanese incenses that are described as "old-style," i.e., woody, herbaceous, "medicinal," dry . . . this is not hippie patchouli or headshop coconut, but instead is an incense that inspires dignity (an increasingly rare sensation).

Best incense I've ever used.
This is the best incense we have ever had. The smell is simply wonderful. I have asthma and we have to be careful of the incense we burn as many of them are very irritating to me. The Temple Incense is a soft subtle smell that doesn't bother me at all. I have had many people request the name of the incense as they were impressed by it.

Great Incense
I'm a bit of an incense "junkie". I'm pretty picky and meticulous about trying to do my research on incense from various countries and quality of ingredients etc. I've visited incense shops in Kyoto that have been around since the 1800's so I hope that I've learned something. This Jing Kwan incense is great. Really nice fragrance and the quality of the ingredients seems to be there. Not like Chinese, not like Japanese and certainly not like Indian or Tibetan incense. A bit different but super nice.

Offensive to the senses...
I had high hopes with all the good reviews but this product does not deliver. It has a distinct burning smell, like you just kindled a small fire, then this is combined with a pungent, sickening, spicey , flowery, disgusting scent. The price tag on this is outrageous. The only positive is the pretty box. My go to incense is amazing but I do like to try new things once in awhile. I recommend Mainichi-Koh Kyara Deluxe - Nippon Kodo Aloeswood incense. $10 cheaper and amazing, smooth, woodsy calming scent far more appropriate for a temple. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001B68HPC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Don't forget incense from Korea!
I often burn incense from Asia: the sweet aromatic Indian, the earthy Tibetan, the sharp aloeswood of Thailand, and the woodsy, mellow combinations of Japan. I find Chinese far too flowery sweet or pungent to my liking. This Korean combination of sandalwood, aloeswood, frankincense, and undisclosed spices has a Tibetan quality of medicinal herbs and substance. It is complex and interesting. I, too, can attest that the scent is found within temples in Korea. If you also enjoy incense, this little known variety is worth your attention.

I love the delicate smell of quality Japanese incense so I ...
I love the delicate smell of quality Japanese incense so I decided to buy this to try something different. However, this is too spicy and pungent with a burnt linger smell that is not to my taste. Anyone who loves good quality Japanese incense should stick with that.

Great!
Absolutely fantastic. I wasn't expecting to enjoy this incense this much. Aloes, Olibanum and Sandalwood really set up a temple atmosphere which is conducive to meditation and ritual. There is holy ground where this scent is burned. Try it out.

true temple fragrance;
I never get tired of this fragrance. This box is very well packaged. I bought this as a gift and I would recommend this incense to all for meditation. This fragrance is subtle, and it will not overpower your area. Very nice! Burns clean.
