I have a wooden cabinet with 12 compartments which is about 14 years old. With its big compartments, I really liked it. However, over the years, the door hinges were broken and doors fell off one after another. I thought about buying new cabinet but it is hard to find one similar to this size. So I decided to fix the fallen door with magnet latches and bought this product. It is strong enough to hold the door and easy to open and close without falling off. I do like the quality of the product and the price.

If there is any drawback to these it is unavoidable: the screws are samll, as they must be, and easy to drop and lose. However, if you aren't fumble fingered these are easy to install and do the job.

Per the headline, the product itself is great and I haven't had any issues with them. Once installed, the magnets have been holding my cabinets shut wonderfully. No more cabinet doors drifting open.The screws they include, however, are very low quality.The screw-heads snapped off about 50% of the time while trying to install them. I was able to install all of my magnets using only the provided screws in the end, although there are now a number of decapitated screws lodged in my cabinets. So if you use the included hardware, be gentle. Otherwise, you could use your own screws and have a better installation experience.

It was time to replace some of my 30 year old cabinet magnets as some were worn out. Found these and they seems like the best option for the cost. They were well made and exactly what I was looking for. Installing them was easy and the have good magnetic strength

Overall this product is just "ok". The magnet half is fine and works well with the screws. However, the metal flats have the wrong size hole and the screws won't go flush with the metal which is not good because they get in the way and prevent a flush metal to magnet contact. For now, I only needed a couple of these because of worn out hinge "spring locks" so I just used 3M double-sided sticky tape until I get to the hardware store and look for better screws for the metal pads. Drill your holes first on the magnet side for sure or you can strip or split your cabinet wood

they are small-ish, but thats what i wanted, worked fine, good value

The hardware is fine. The screws included are awful. Not self-tapping, non-magnetic. They go flying when you try to screw them in. I had to use different screws to make it work. Don’t be cheap on the screws. It’s my biggest pet peeve.
