Perfection and easy.
I don’t normally leave reviews but these lights were so perfect that I just had to. They are nice a bright and even come with a small bracket to mount them that they just clip into. Direct conversion for BioCube lights. Very well done. Ps I ran two lights off of the same power cord they recommend in their description.

Look Great So Far
I’ve only tested the lights for a few days but so far am impressed. They give off a nice, bright, blue color. I like that they’re waterproof as I’m using them in a high humidity, 90% RH, grow tent. See pic… One feature that I could not use as intended is the extra power-out cable. It’s supposed to be used to daisy-chain multiple lights together. Since my application has different height shelves & I wanted to control each light via a switch, the daisy-chaining was not an option. Also, I was concerned with too much humidity coming into contact with the power-out because it’s completely exposed. So much for waterproof. And that could potentially ruin it. My solution was to design and print caps for the exposed connectors of the power-out. I’ll post a pic of what I came up with. So far, problem solved… I saw someone’s review that said the lights permanently dimmed after a week or so. Will update this review if this happens to me. But really I’d first suspect the power supply before the lights if that were to happen.

Great light, cheap price
I use this as an add on to my Kessil a80 and it holds its on over a 25 gallon reef 🪸 My buddy also have them over a 200+ gallon tank and loves them also😊

Works well
Not as bright as it seems, enough wattage to pierce water for coral growth... Easy to retrofit. I've only had them for about 2 weeks on my tank... So we'll see how waterproof they are, but they're holding up fine now. This is the white one, it's only really for us to see into the tank... The blue and full spectrum ones will work for Corals, mine seem to thrive and reach toward the light. I have 3 of these, this white one. The full spectrum one, and the blue one, they all link together and attach perfectly to the ledenet dimmer. I like them and they are adequate lighting for corals, excellent for fish only systems and great if you want to retrofit a tank and not break the bank.

Garbage
When daisy chain the lights start blinking constant and they are dim as hell And they get really hot as well after 2 min of being plugged in I don’t see these growing coral I see these catching fire bought them as accent actinic light More like a moon light Spend the money for better safer light bars

THIS LIGHT BAR REQUIRES ADJUSTMENT
It's a simple fix to get this light bar up and running : purchase a DC 12v adaptor on amazon for under 10 bucks that has an in-line on/off switch, hook up male to female and simply chop off the male end that came with the light, drop a gob of silicone on the cut end and there you have it..perfect fix. It's worth mentioning that I removed 2 stars cuz it's ridiculous the seller didn't include a power supply, forcing customers to customize the light bar.

They grow coral really well INEXPENSIVELY
I've been a reef coral hobbyist for 20 years with a 6ft 180gal reef tank. Over the years I've used T5s, MHs and in the last 7 years LEDs. I initially bought them to fill-in some dark spots that my main Noopysche lights were missing. Based on the price of these I wasn't expecting much except to visually fill-in shadows in the corner. To my surprise after putting a bundle of three in both corners of the tank, 4-6mos later.... really saw some great GROWTH of LPS in those corners. You can't beat the price and the results.... competing and performing as well as $300 LED fixtures. My suggestion is to work.in bundles of three strips for each 2ft x 2ft section.

Put 2 of these under a biocube 32 lid
They made the corals pop. Especially my hammers and zoas. Held up for 2 years before I had to replace. Next time I may try JB weld to hold the bar in place insead of screwing it into the plastic. Probably try wrapping where they connect together in electrical tape too.
