Is this the Duncraft product?

No, this isn't Duncraft's. I had the Duncraft product and it was extremely thin, low-grade metal. This is a very study, heavy-duty stand.

Does anyone have the 'new bronze textured color' ? Wonder if that's an improved product from complaints of rust.

I've had the bronze one for over a year now. Not a sign of rust anywhere! Best purchase ever, the squirrels have never been able to defeat it!

Can anyone compare the quality of this pole system to the pole and baffle sold by Wild Birds Unlimited?

I have had the Squirrel stopper bronze pole system since 5/2019. The pole is in the same shape as it was 4 years ago. I have had it in the ground the entire time all year long. I live in Pennsylvania so it has been subjected to all weather. No rust, no peeling of finish. All 8 hooks still intact, it remains in the ground and straight. The baffle still moves freely...I have not seen a Squirrel attempt to climb up the pole in over 3 years.. we have plenty of squirrels who now realize that they have ground duty.. to pick up the mess left by birds! I cannot say enough about this feeder. I have heavy bird feeders on it with 3 feeders that hokd 5 pounds of feed each. The hooks on feeder stand are intact and have had heavy bird feeders hanging from them for 4years. The only draw back is that this feeder stand is tall. I am 5ft 3 and must have my husband take down then hang feeders for me.. since I have a deck with railing, that is 3 feet off the ground, and feeder is in ground, I am glad that it is tall enough that from the inside of my house I can see feeders as they hang higher than my deck raiking. When I first installed pole, I placed it too close to the railing. The squirrels would jump from the railing fly through the air and land on top of my feeders with 25% success rate. My husband moved pole 5 feet further from deck railing and now no squirrels on the feeders .

What is the diameter of the pole itself as well as the diameter of the baffle, please? Would this also stop raccoons? Thank you.

The diameter of the pole is 2", the baffle's widest part on top is 8" and it narrows down to about 4" on the bottom. I don't see why the baffle wouldn't stop raccoons as they are climbers rather than squirrels (jumpers) The baffle would throw them off. But there are some really smart critters out there so I wouldn't 100% guarantee a raccoon couldn't figure out how to get above the baffle but I would think it would be difficult.
