Despite that the author is very knowledgable in his field, this book was originally written in 1975 (that's 50 years ago, mind you) and most of what is written does not apply anymore in todays field. Also, the author praises Sayyid Qutb in the first page - which made it hard not to immediatly trash the book.

J'ai bien aimé livre. Même pour un francophone le vocabulaire, que je redoutais trop technique, est accessible. Le livre ne rentre pas trop dans les détails mais donne des alternatives aux théories psychanalytiques occidentalo-centrées. On reste cependant un peu sur notre faim car certains chapitres mériteraient un peu plus de développement.
